Imagine being so disjointed from your countries society that you start whinning about their needs....

Actually a large part of the American Welfare recipients are the same: Breeding before thinking. We see people on 'disability insurance', 'Medicaid', EBT Food Stamps... It's a common thread, regardless of the country of origin. Fact is that kids ARE expensive. Think before you breed. In my American circle I have two families who earn between $100k-150k/year house-hold income. And yet their lives are quite miserable. One guy is divorced and gives 'child support' in thousands every month while the other's marriage may not last long.

Having too many kids is THE prime reason for stress and poverty. There's no sugar coating that, regardless of the origin. I can go on and on about giving examples of my own cousins in Pakistan who have only 1-2 kids vs those with 4-5 kids; it's a big difference in the quality of life.

As the oldie Pakistani may recall, Bhutto's campaign way back in the 1970s about Family Planning: 'Aik do bacchey, khush-haal gharana. Aid do bacchey, lakhon khusian!' (One or two kids, prosperous household. One or two kids, millions of joys!'). Sadly, Zia came to power and that went away...

People in Pakistan breed like rabbits and then expect 'Allah' to take care of things. Well, Allah doesn't help those who don't help themselves!! Also, let me tell one thing very clearly: I have seen even middle class families in America whose lives are greatly altered and stressed out because of having even one kid. Yes, even in the richest country in the world!! Talk about Pakistan then!

That is indeed a major issue that needs attention. Those who can afford to have more children are content with one or two only. Those who cannot, don't know when to stop. People don't care whether those children would become productive members of society or just add to the burden on the economy.
