Also, for democracy to flourish, Pakistan needs electoral reforms. The first step is to accept this system is a fraud. It cant let leaders win that Pakistanis elect.

When election campaigns are run by Gullu Butts and the aspiring MNA storms the polling station and forces his will, it can be safely assumed elections were not fair.

Once the election system is fair, there will be no allegation of rigging. In neighboring India, no one points a finger at election fairness.

If we have elections like this, let the Sharifs win. No issues. But we know Sharif and their toadies here on PDF will never admit to this. They will keep circumventing and try to bring onus on Imran. The onus is not on him, the onus is on the 'elected' leaders now to prove they won fair and square, which they did not.

ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has zero success rate to-date in its 37 decided election complaints and there is no evidence that the election tribunals (ETs) are biased, says a post election report of Free and Fair Election Network (Fafen).



According to the report, the election tribunals are not delaying complaints of the PTI only, as the PML-N’s 28 out of 66 complaints are still pending in various tribunals as compared to PTI’s 21 out of 58 total complaints which are still pending.



The PML-N only had four successes in 38 decided complaints. The tribunals have de-seated two PTI and nine PML-N winners to-date.Data from a Fafen review of post-election complaint-handling undermines rigging charges. Out of 410 complaints lodged with the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) 301 had been decided by May 31, 2014. Over 100 complaints are still pending.



Even if the PTI wins all of its remaining complaints, it would not gain power in Punjab or nationally. But if the PML-N loses all complaints pending against it, it will retain power both in the Centre and in Punjab.

LAHORE: The Lahore High Court (LHC) adjourned on Monday the hearing of a petition against proceedings before an election tribunal on an appeal of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan seeking recounting in constituency NA-122 in Lahore.

Speaker of the National assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq had filed the petition and contended that the documents and affidavits presented by Imran in the tribunal were not original, and were photocopies.

He pleaded that the tribunal could not hold proceedings unless original documents were provided. In this regard, Justice Ijazul Ahsan had already stayed the tribunal’s proceedings.

On Monday, Imran’s counsel sought a week’s time to file a response to the petition. The judge turned down the request and directed the counsel to advance his conclusive arguments on Tuesday.

The PTI chief had lost his elected seat from NA-122 to Sadiq, and had approached the election tribunal for recounting and inspection of votes.

Keep in mind same FAFEN was the champion of PTI when some of its reports focused on PMLN - it was widely referenced by the same PTI trolls yet when it became known that FAFEN list also included IK's seat suddenly the credibility of FAFEN became suspicious.

Members should note that PTI trolls here are side stepping the main issue - they were claiming that PTI won by wide margin in Punjab and only lost due to rigging - now like their Messiah the have taken a U-turn and saying its not about seats. Also take a look at the number of cases which election commission has cleared yet if you look at the statements of IK it seems that not a single case has been cleared.


To top it of many members of PTI including Tareen have gone to courts and taken stay orders against opening voter verification - this shows how completely hypocritical this bunch of sore losers is
