Why are you sidetracking and so touchy about his thread. You have the right to create another thread for your interest. But I dont think you have the right to divert his topic.

Did he did anything wrong with a reminder for a piece of history or you are going to deny this history?

Its interesting because if this conquest didn’t happen Russia might never border Pacific ocean, and even take some lands that China used to have up there.

I am wondering how Russia guards it long borders? Shall be a strenuous on manpower and budget.

In the past cossacks were settled along most problem borders - in Caucasus and nomadic Central Asia.

But there is a "little" difference. You can see huge republics of native Siberian peoples with half and even more % of native population - with parliaments, official status of local language, local governments with huge % of locals as presidents, ministers and so on. Can you see such native states in USA? At least - one state of American Indians? I suppose - no. So, please, do not compare conquest (quite common thing in human history) with true genocide.
For example. Сonquest - is what Germans did with Dutch or Norwegians, genocide - is what Germans did with Jews or Slavics.
