A curious question... Say you are right and the US does choose to relocate the troops from Europe to Asia Pacific, where will they be stationed..?

Japan and South Korea...? even with the existing troops level stationed in their countries the US are demanding an increase in billions of USD for the annual protection fee... and both Japan and SK are already very unhappy with these demands.. What do you think will happen if Trump suddenly tells them "hey I am putting 10000 more men in your country, now just pay me an additional XX billions please"... Not to mention that the local Japanese population, especially in Okinawa, have always been demanding for the reduction of US troops... not an increase..

Other than to Hawaii or Guam, I can't really see where these troops will be deployed in the APAC region... Perhaps if Trump stops demanding more protection money from both countries a deal can be made.. but it seems very unlikely for Trump to do so..
