EU waiting for Bangladesh govt’s response over use of CRIMARIO

I have no problem with siding with America and its allies. It becomes a problem if the price of that is being gobbled up by India. Our independence struggle would be a waste if that was to happen. Blood given by martyrs would have been in vain.
American govt understands our mind that we do not want to become an Indian satellite country, and this is why it is directly engaging with BD. Not only America but also EU and the UK, all are following this new formula. They do not want to throw us to India.

Bold part: বাইসের নাও যেইটা এক হাত বেশি লম্বা সেইটা বাইসের সময় এক হাত আগেই থাকে।

We cannot indulge in arms race with India. It will ruin the future of the economy. Note the country in the west of India. India has this program to make that country hopeless by providing it the cause to compete with India in the arms race.

Now, it is not yet fully bankrupt, thanks to SA and China.

"India is our big brother" mm Is our enemy. We are just building a military for self defence not for attack

You people are overthinking it. All it is a gps system that locates maritime assets and if specific consoles are installed shares radar data to a central system.

Those who are participants can see everything in the system simultaniously allowing for planning and coordination. The gps systems can also be switched off at will.

There is little implication for BD. It will allow BD to have greater situational awareness in the Bay and beyond, take coordinated SAR and disaster relief actions.

BD can participate in this without any implication vis-a-vis china. US and EU is tracking all chinese surface assets via satelites so this wont add anything at all.

As a Norwegian-Bengali i love to say that i hope Bangladesh EU cooperation gets even stronger in the coming years. There are good opportunities for both here. But tbh i really also hope Europe can stop with this nonsense strategy of yesterdays where they just want to go around and pressure small powers to this and that.

Europe is more than capable to win the competition against any enterprise, if only it can stop being lazy and unimaginative (strategically). That applies to America too. Its a big irony that America, may be the most competitive nation in Earth, is afraid of competition. If America used its brain and made a plans like Roosevelt and Eisenhower, they would not fear competition. Countries would automatically flock to America. But right now they are not offering that much development. Instead of asking why China wins so many contracts they should ask why does America not offer more loans and win more contracts.

US is the most indebted nation on earth, this is the reason why they are unable to spend money on development.

Its a vicious circle for America.
It all started with 911 and the War in Afghanistan and Iraq. Bush simply printed tons of money and asked rest of the world to buy US Government bonds. Which the world did. Especially China, Japan and European nations.

When the financial crisis happened in 2008 the US discovered it had taken too many loans and given out to people who should never had loans and credit cards. The Fed simply printed money out of thin air. Making the dollar less attractive as a investment object on the long run.

Tbf it was inevetable, this is the fate of all nations when they become too wealthy. Prices starts to rise and production moves to places with more competitive production costs.

America could choose to do like Germany after WW2. But socialism is a cuss word there. What made America powerful was the policies of New Deal. Which is actually socialistic ideas.

I might be wrong, but IMO the very ideology that made America win the cold war, might also be the main cause behind its slow decline; extreme capitalism.
