The main problem is not the high exchange rate policy.

Turkey is a country of tourism and construction, this situations causing many entries when you will cut rates higher imports. If Turkey can support it with the manufacturing industry, it can catch realistic growth that is not based on imports. What I mean is not the intermediate product, but the final product that will belong to IP rights country.

The most extreme example is 1 USD = 7 Yuan. The low-value domestic currency can be a valuable weapon in the hands of smart economists. Many Asian economies are trying to follow the Chinese model.

Our main problem is high volatility based on speculation. Our economy is not as strong against external attacks as it is not on solid foundations like China or Russia. Of course there are structural problems in the economy, but the main cause which raises the dollar certainly has other factors.

The Turkish government send such papers to Italy as well to prove us that some people in Italy who came from Turkey were helping in that coup.

That "prove papers" were laughable at best. They got aired in our TV and it was shown what fake prove Turkey brings up.

A small note: In Turkey, there are 450 official church. Except from these the number of missionary houses is expressed in thousands.But , even with the most exaggerated estimates, the population rates are at most 1%.

All of the historic churches are restored by the state and presented to the service of our Christian community. Thousands of non-Muslim clergy in our country are at the head of their congregations.

The reduction of the subject to the level of freedom of religion and conscience by the US authorities is a very great lowliness. Also its explain of US manipulation effort for saving official agent which has deep roots with PKK and Feto. And of course an investment in election.

The problem Turkey is facing that there are too many examples of arrests without trial.
Both Turkish citizens and foreigners have been arrested, no trial, and no evidence presented.
Combined with arrests of journalists, repression of the press and social media, it does not paint a bright picture of Turkey. The pastor can have been arrested for the simple propaganda reason, to put blame on the US.
My theory on the coup remains that Erdogan was planning a purge, the military found out and started the coup without much planning, and failed. The purge started within days of the coup.
Obama criticized Egypt for evicting the Muslim Brotherhood, something not appreciated by al-Sisi. In light if that, I do not see Obama supporting a coup in Turkey.

German fraction leader Volker Kauder in Eu parliament dismissed financial help for Turkey collapsing economy. Kauder says the problems are created by Erdogan and his failed policies. Crushing evry oppossition, doing tenthousands of arrests, making your own family ministers ect doesnt attract capital and investments. It scares it away.

Germany and the EU have no interest in making the turkish economy collapse faster or even more. But Turkey is no EU member and as long Erdogn doesnt change his politics, there is no way to help Turkey.

Turkey's going to be fine. Their will be no economic collapse or instability. The people who are saying otherwise are the same people who claimed that Iraq had WMD that could destroy Europe in 30 mins. If anything, Turkey is going to become more stronger and powerful.
