Escalation in the Taiwan strait as the Taiwanese president boldly confirms US troops are present on the Island

Itachi is a false flagger - and probably from Kolkata. :-)

We should ask him to change his flag.

Ah yes....the Bengali comes in to remind everyone how I'm from Kolkata....

You guys really need to pick one location....one thread I'm a Jew, another a atheist, another a Indian, another a CIA agent.

Then I'll just invite you to my discord server and serve you some fresh, hot, out of the oven Urdu words which'll make you run away from me like I'm about to do Operation Searchlight all over again.

For those who didn't get the reference: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Operation_Searchlight
Taiwan soliders in my first video are not rookies for sure. I know the background of the video. Taiwanese also speak Chinese. You can not tell which army is well trained from rookies. That's why your all about rookies' mistakes video is not persuasive.

Kek....keep spinning the wheel. :D

I don't really care what you say or write since you're all about moving goal posts once evidence is provided. A classic Wumao tactic.

Talk to me when China actually attacks Taiwan.

Hsiung Feng II

Range: 160 km

Can hit both land and sea targets.

Hsiung Feng III

Range: 400 km

Can hit both land and sea targets.

You should leave PDF before your social credit score dips too low from all the lies I bust of yours.

I noticed you haven't been able to refute multiple of my arguments, but it's OK. I would try to cherrypick if I were as wrong as you were too.

160 km range can't actually hit China. This is easy to see on Google Maps. Distance from Taiwan to China at the nearest point is 130 km - but that point is an uninhabited peninsula across from Hsinchu. Distance from Taiwan to any major city in China is 180 km minimum.

400 km range for a cruise missile they have ~250 of is not a threat at all. It flies high and slow, making it super easy to intercept. Just a single 055 with quad packed SAMs can intercept their entire arsenal with room to spare.

Meanwhile a single SY-400 rocket system has 8x rockets with 200 km range. Just 5 trucks can overwhelm their entire air defense system of 32 SAMs including 19 MIM-Hawk from the 1960's.

Man, I guess it's time for your English lessons with Itachi Sensei of PDF.

1) The 160km missile will kill any Chinese who attempts to invade Taiwan. Pretty clear but I guess English is hard to understand...

2) You're quoting Wikipedia numbers

You really think there's only 250 missiles?? Man...I gotta say....you're the toughest student I have had. It's gonna take months to make you understand how to differentiate between misinformation and actual information.

3) And this is what Taiwan shows to the world.....they have more stuff no one on the public domain (you, me or PDF) knows about.

Didn't you say "Taiwan doesn't have the long range rocket artillery or missile capability to hit China" literally earlier in this thread?? :cheesy:

Man, why do I even take you fanboys with no actual factual info even seriously?

They don't have a way to effectively hit China at all. I guess they can hit some deserted islands if that's your definition of 'hit'.

160 km missile can't kill anyone because it will be intercepted easily. Well, I guess it can kill Taiwanese fishermen.

Numbers are from Taipei Times. With $13 billion budget how many do you think they have?

Sure they have 'stuff that nobody on the public domain knows'. Sure they do. I agree. They had an officer literally swim to China to defect and who later became a World Bank vice president. We only know about him because he was a World Bank economist. Many could be in China as relatively unknown people. Definitely not public information.

So China can intercept 100% of missiles launched??

Bravo!

You sir take the prize.....the prize of being the most biased and uneducated PDF'er I have come across in terms of actual knowledge in regards to modern warfare.

You do realize Taiwanese news would definitely not share actual numbers?? Right??

Or are you dumb enough to believe everything you read in the news?

Do you know that:
Taiwan is 130 km away from the mainland, and China's long-range rocket-gun has a range of 480 km. The Nanjing Military Region has 40 rocket gun battalions, more than 500 long-range rockets gun, and each vehicle launches 48 rockets in one round.
The rocket will fire first and destroy all known targets. We don't care about any interception system. If 240k rockets are not enough, we can repeat it. Then the other weapons come on.
If Taipei can defend for 24 hours, it will be a miracle.

Might as well nuke it for good measure. China wants that land, not the people, right? Please also nuke Taiwanese graphic card manufacturing facilities, I want to sell mine at a higher price.

CCP wants the people to reunify with mainland China since they're all "Han Chinese" whereas the "Han Chinese" on PDF want to "flatline" Taiwan.

Such a conundrum.

Yes. Easily. Quad packed SAMs on a 055 = 448 mid ranged SAMs + 24 short ranged SAMs on a box launcher + CIWS vs 250 missiles.

I only go by evidence. Otherwise you can say anything you want. Guess that doesn't stop you.

You aren't the judge of education. It is fucking hilarious to see the audacity though.

NO, you're wrong. China wants both land and population.
The Chinese govt has given up a lot of land, such as Mongolia, badashankh province of Afghanistan and gorno autonomous region of Tajikistan. The Chinese govt is allowing the people in these places to vote whether to become independent or join other countries, and after voting, they are allowed to leave. But Taiwan cannot.
Because Taiwan is the traditional territory of the Han nationality, the main ethnic group above is the Han nationality. The 5000 year tradition of the Han nationality is that the Han nationality must be unified, and the Han nationality can only have one govt. Without reunification, the war will not stop.
Therefore, we want both Taiwan's land and Taiwan's people.

So you're gonna waste all that on decoys?? Good. :D

Like I said, let warfare be a topic for big boys. You keep chest thumping on PDF.
You aren't the judge of education.

I am though. You literally said Taiwan has no long range missiles (earlier in the thread) and then moved the goal post to 250 missiles.....a number so easy to guess that it's not real that even a first grader would know.

I clearly know your educational limits. :D

A decoy that can fly with the same characteristics as a missile is essentially the same cost as a missile. This is self evident because the only way to fly in a controlled manner is to have at minimum an engine, fuselage and guidance system. That is already the cost of the missile minus the warhead. Forget first graders, even animals understand that to fly like something, you have to have the characteristics of that very thing.

No, I did not. A simple typo of not including 'effective', which is again self evident as an ineffective strike is equivalent to no strike, does not negate my point. Again, even animals understand that ineffectual and nonexistent are distinctions without a difference.

Based on past performance, I doubt their weapons will be effective at all. A substantial portion is likely to break down, miss, crash, get intercepted or simply have no effect. Those that remain will be intercepted with ease.

.
Assuming there is no US intervention, I would imagine Taiwan would go full scorched earth.

Of course, I don't know this for a fact. As I don't pretend to be a war expert like some on PDF do

Therefore, we want both Taiwan's land and Taiwan's people.

If the Han ethnicity is so respected, then why can the opinion of one section of the Han population not be respected? Is it the duty of the powerful Han group to force the weaker Han group into submission and unification? Is there any written creed, or revealed divine knowledge regarding Han unification? (like in Islam, we are obligated through divine revelation to give allegiance to the Khalifa)

I think China's policy is just typical old school territorial expansion under the guise of regaining historical territorial boundaries. India wants to do the same by capturing all land up till Turkey (lol). Mongolia wants to rule all of Eurasia, Greeks would like to have all land east of the Indus, and so on......

Taiwan will just be another reason for an all out global conflict. Like Poland was in 1939.
We are due for WWIII anyway. The global population has increased to an unsustainable level. Complete global nuclear catastrophe will help in this regard. Better start prepping.

You clearly don't know how decoys work...

Decoys work through the EM spectrum to confuse the enemy radars into believing that they're the real deal. Even a 10th grader knows that.

Start learning:

"Same cost as missiles"

Why would anyone make a decoy if they cost the same as actual missiles??

The video is just an example....don't start claiming it's going to the thing in the video. It's not.

Like I said before, you're in no way an expert on the matter of modern warfare. Neither am I. But I know enough to expose a naïve chest thumping kid. :D

now you move the goal post. You said decoy. Decoys are physical. It is the definition of a decoy.

What you showed is not a decoy, it is a sensor spoof. Note how it's deployed by an aircraft, not by a missile itself. Hsiung Feng III is not air launched. A non-air launched missile cannot deploy an aircraft based decoy. Again this is self evident and something that is easily understood by anyone with eyeballs and a brain.
