This visit of Erdogan to china is mostly about the nuclear energy issue which Turkey is pursuing for its electricity needs, the other questions are secondary to this one.
forgetting the big picture and jumping to conclusions about differences of policies between Muslim countries is a bit out of topic.

Turkey is a NATO country; that was a choice between adhering to Capitalism or to communism(or fear over its spread), Turkey choose Capitalism.
Christian Europe could not accept Turkey in the EU because Turkey is primarily a Muslim country, secular or otherwise EU didn't care.

China has been and is no treat to anyone, the proof is that they hardly have invaded anyone in the past, despite their military and technological might.

Pakistan has good and very good relations with both and is working hard to achieve a high statue, be it in economy, technology or on the human resources side.

Our paradigms are different. From Pakistan,the world may be seen as goodies(iran,russia,china) vs evil(nato,usa,uk).But for us its not that simple.Maybe thats why we are more moderate towards all those countries. For me,there is no ethical difference between the USA and China. I dont hate them i dont love them,im just neutral.

After all,they are all nation-states following their own interests.And if China becomes the empire of the world,they will be the new USA.Americans are not irrational monsters thristy of muslim blood. When they invade somewhere,its because of their interests. If someday China becomes the super-power,they are going to do what their interests dictate them to do.

Can we plzz stop arguing between us (Pakistanis) and our Turkish brothers? I never in my wildest of dreams, thought tht we would be ever arguing with our Turkish brothers..We love both Turkey and China... I hope Turkey and China develop closer relations b/w them... Tht would be ideal for us Pakistanis.

As far as Turkey and Nato alliance is concerned, i think, although Turkey is part of NATO alliance, i donot think Turkey is , by any chance, a puppet of USA... I think, Turkey to a great extent, has adopted independent foreign policy... Ofcourse, its a part of NATO, it will have to follow its policies.... but atleast it genuinely tries to....
