Envoy: Iran among China's Most Important Trade Partners

It would be nice if someone informed could provide some perspective on how China views it's relations in the region.

China has a big leverage over Iran. This is a dangerous situation.

What's dangerous is Israel and US future invasion plan of Iran. Don't like the idea of China buying more oil from your country? Thank US for threatening EU and other countries who are afraid of financial punishments if they import Iranian oil. China buys from the Middle East and US invades it, now who is a threat to Iran?

Of course China is not an enemy of Iran and chinese-iranian oil trade, which apparently amounts to 50% of Irans oil exports, is a very important lifeline. One of the few remaining in fact and as such would be devastating to the iranian economy if reduced. In that sense it's a dangerous situatation Iran finds itself in because it's very dependent on China.

I don't think it will be reduced, Iran is a very important trading partner (always have been for thousands of years). China has a huge population and it is still increasing. People are getting more wealthy and will go travel more or have the cash to buy cars. Iran has competition from Russia and other neighbors but it doesn't mean China will stop trading with Iran because they have oil too. Besides there's also North Korea doing business with Iran.

That's only temporaly solution, eventually when the crise is unlocked Iran will diversified itself away from China, that is so natural that every nation on earth will do.

I thought Zero is invtented by Indian, maybe they still don't know how to count the number on each side of the boundary

Or maybe Chinese people are giants and Indians are little bugs so 2 million Chinese can wipe out 1 billion Indians?
These Indians talking about Chinese threats for India are crazy

Seriously beside Indian crap talk, I hope Chinese new silk road for Kashgar to central Asia, connecting Pakistan and Iran will be ready soon, this will bring a dynamic to the region.

May the region prosper indeed. Lets hope Iran can stay stable despite all the threats they are facing from the West and Israel.

What would you like to know ?

For instance. US recently announced that it's shifting it's foreign policy focus to the Asia pacific region. To some extent in order to challenge growing chinese influence. China has significant trade ties with US' greatest enemy in the Middle east, Iran. What possibilities exist for china to use these trade ties as a bargaining chip in order to reduce US activity in the Asia pacific?
