We are out because of our net run rate and because of our poor performance against west indies.i think getting out is much better than humiliation in semi final or final.pakistan deserves 5th spot and they should play well against bangladesh.it is all over for us.we need lots of changes.domestic players should be selected and we need changes in pcb management.basically a complete overhaul is necessary.it was our best chance to win world cup because we have history of playing well under English conditions but opportunity lost.very sad day for pakistan cricket fans but we should remain positive.a change is necessary.
Yes, they are fully entitled to lose the match if they want to. Instead, Pakistan should do better next time, so they wouldn't be in a similar position like now. What India did was NOT match fixing or somehow cheating. It is standard procedure in such a scenario to engineer a preferred outcome. We would do the same and have done at times. Many teams have done this in many sports.
Yes I agree that they put their loathing of pk ahead of all other considerations when they decided to pursue a policy to eliminate Pak by all means necessary.
Someone mentioned that having Pak in the semi final mix would make it easier for india as they would be likely to win if we met again and that this fact in itself is some sort of circumstantial evidence that India did not engineer the result to eliminate pak - it is true that Pak would be an easier proposition than Eng on the basis of current form and ability, however the 10% risk of losing to Pak is UNTENABLE for India, and the reality is that they would rather have England in the mix than the less adept Pakistani team because the 50% risk of loss to England is preferable to the 10% risk of loss to Pakistan. India were stung badly in CT final 2017 and wouldn't want to risk a repeat, hence they did what they did.
I don't see it as cheating at all.

Thats sum up all, India, Virat Kholi & Dhoni are shit scared to the core towards Pakistanis, Indians has accepted for a fact to bow thier heads down in front of Pakistan if they reach Semis or Finals.
Indian Cricket Team players indeed were stung badly at the loss of ICC Champions Trophy Final to Pakistan and it cuts them like spears till today and hence all this engineered matches.
So true.Yes, they are fully entitled to lose the match if they want to. Instead, Pakistan should do better next time, so they wouldn't be in a similar position like now.
I think india will not win this worldcup and australia or england will win.

How do you explain, for the lack of better words, the massive Drubbing of Pakistan at the hands of the same Virat Kohli and Dhoni, this WC? India lost by less than half of the margin to England comared to that Pakistan lost to India. Was that match engineered too?
I like Pakistani Cricket team and respect their capabilities, but motormouths like you derive responses from Indian members that deride your team. Have a little bit of dignity in defeat.
