I am far from naive. If you knew where I work then you would understand where I am coming from. This has NOTHING to do with Politics, the JF17 deal or stopping investment in Pakistan. This about a sports organisation that is risk averse.

No surprises here. Am sure it was a very reluctant decision but necessary one, what a joke. JF 17 is a Chinese sale and Pakistan have to go along as we are partner in the project. So if they sell to India that's are are very reluctant sales are they? Pakistan should go ahead and put an extra offer on the table in addition to the Chinese one to the Argentina "buy one and one get one free" on their next sale and bring some tears to those 5 eyes.

This is what happens when you concentrate all your funding on one sports which isn't even good or popular. Pakistan should put its attention on other sports like Football, Basketball, Golf, Field Hockey, UFC, Wrestling and Tennis etc. which aren't influenced by India.

With the way things are going with cricket, things are getting very boring when the sport is just dominated by India. All other countries are losing its interests in it. You will see indian expats from New Zealand, Australia and England playing in their national teams only with the way things are going. How BCCI is doing this crap will lead to India only playing against India.

I fully agree with you. We have virtually neglected all other sports for the sake of Cricket.
Rather than begging other nations to tour pakistan, we should switch our focus to other sports. Cricketing nations with influence will always blackmail Pakistan for one thing or another. Time to move on from cricket.

England has a skewed understanding of security when it comes to her citizens. Apparently 25 sportsmen are unsafe while 25 hundred thousand English nationals are touring Pakistan on any given day.

Here is a fact. Most Chinese, Russians, Turks would prefer to visit India then Pakistan because they actually feel safer there - iron brothers or kardesh sounbytes notwithstanding.

Whilst some of the reasons are because of the Afghan imbroglio and Indian whipping up of propaganda against Pakistan but, BUT the major reason is the hatred in Pakistan against the West. Even the Afghans probably hate the West less than Pakistan.

The crazy thing is Pakistan could get squashed like a bug by the west and presents zero rivalry to the west given that nobody apys any tax so governments every decade go hand on cup begging the IMF for bailouts. Yet country that is perptually bankrupt thinks its a rival to the west. Wtf?

Contrast this with China. That country will one day cause the destruction of Western power. Yet the Chinese are ever so modest. They show no hatred for the west but instead are engaged in a calculated race to gain economic and military supremacy all the while showing a smiling face.

Pakistan really needs to tone down the anti Western rhetoric. The Taliban at least fought the west to a defeat. The Chinese are beating the west on the economic arena. Pakistan is doing neither but just mouthing off like a idiot.

Well, you got it wrong, it's nothing to do with BCCI. However, India did play its part just a little. I learned from highly reliable sources that there was a meeting held in Delhi where people related to security from the US, UK, and India were discussing what should be done to put pressure on Pakistan in relation to Afghanistan. We did suggest that canceling cricket and creating an atmosphere that Pakistan terrorism is growing is a good and reliable method. Once across the world, people feel Pakistan is unsafe there will be a trickle-down effect.

Both NZ and England know that their teams are safe with security provided to the level of PM of Pakistan. So this is part of a larger plan.
