Engineering fields in Pakistan.Help needed

Don't confuse yourself in this matter now..just prepare for your exams and entry test first...you have still 3-4 months for A Leve/Fsc exams and almost 7-8 months for entry test... You will be in a position to "Choose" your own discipline if you have enough aggregate...At the end the game is all about your aggregate so get maximum... Don't put yourself in the this debate of choosing discipline now... and for the record i am a 7th semester student in UET....!

I have no idea which field is most valuable in Pakistan to proceed with or which univ to take..You should know firstly the best colleges for those streams you interested in & its demand over there..If your country doesn't provide good job for that field then you should aim for best colleges in country or a good college in abroad...But I would suggest Electrical Engg as I belong to that background..It has a good demand with good core value & software value...Because nobody can live electricity..:enjoy:Best of luck..

.
Related to civil only...lekin I can't reveal much because then tracking through LinkedIn becomes very easy.

Raw agents has better interpersonal skills than any er. grad. like me ...hahah....
You may be providing training at bidding/cost analysis n planning level I guess.... Don't worry mam about tracing n all(Not asking for you to share further).....

.
why was your dream shattered? You could still do MSc in physics and then do a PhD. But your usefulness would be very very limited, unless you are one of those smart blokes who can use derivatives on the wall street to crash the economy.

Brother I was having some family problem that time n I had to go for Job than further study..... I am not smart either but I was honest to myself put my all energy n dedication to get phd at any cost.... N believe me its very difficult after crushing yourself into job n then dedicate yourself for regular study ....
Interest does not demand smartness I guess ....

Trust me, a lot of particle physicists are struggling. I know one has to chase his dream, but you have to put food on the table as well. Try to put every effort into your career.

Do what you want to do , where do will have fun :) You will do it for the rest of your Life !!!

Go for example Mechanical engineering.

.
How about studying mechanical engineering? You can still do what aeronautics engineer can do, but at least you will have the option of changing fields later on. Maybe when you study, you'll discover automotive or robotics as fun too? With aeronautics you are restricting yourself too much, especially if you plan on staying and working in Pakistan.
Best advice by Don. Take mechanical route and do your graduate project in aeronautics. How about a drone, quad-copter, and etc? Believe me after restricting yourself to aeronautics in undergraduate, you would be struggling for a job who satisfies your passion or even pays well. After BS, go abroad likely USA, Germany or some Scandinavian country and pursue your passion there. Never ever take the PAF route.

.
Go for EE. You'll have choice to go in to power, electronics, communications, biomedical and much more.
I am talking about NUST btw. Don't know what other universities are offering.

.
And in NUST's EE program, you can design drones or whatever you want. You can go to NUST's website and checkout the FYPs done by UG students.

Whether you go to IIT or not, doesn't determine your future. I am sure you yourself are well versed in examples of people who made big without going to fancy universities. I know in India the competitive nature is very high. However, What guarantee did you have that you would employable after doing a PhD? Rather than spending 4 years in a PhD maybe you can make better use of those 4 years in getting experience.

Remember, you cannot change your past, but you can change your future. It is never too late.
All the best.
