Actually, my idea of victory is usually a Signed Treaty of Surrender, preceded by a formal Declaration of War - a minor skirmish in the border areas if not my idea of a war. Nor is my idea of a victory even in a skirmish - when the country making early in-roads backs away before the opponent regroups. Perhaps the psychological scars left by the Japanese invasion and occupation of China have altered their sense of what constitutes a war and what constitutes a victory - that coupled with indoctrination by a communist regime. So, it is not your fault.
