Endangered Fishing Cat killed in Chittagong

This is a one off incident, hunting for recreation is very very rare in Bangladesh.

It really is a one off incident.

I was watching a maneater documentary about the Sunderbans. The patience of the people there with wildlife is humbling indeed.

So you are from Bangladesh?

Why are you still asking this seemingly innocuous question?

meri marzi dude.

how hard is it for you to say you are a proud Bangladeshi?

No, it's quite obvious you were attempting to troll me the other day, so I chose not to indulge you with an answer.

I have read some of your older posts on this sub forum, where I saw you trolling, so I assumed you were trying something similar.

Besides, I'm not a nationalist by any means, so why would I limit myself with a certain nationality tag.

Nationalism is frowned upon in Islam, I try to follow some teaching of the religion here and there.

Bangladesh has everything to offer you.

Your nationality does not limit you for anything. A Bangladeshi is a global responsible citizen in Bangladesh even if he hasn't stepped a foot outside his native village.

I was just checking what you meant as dark skin tone. Racism is a global issue which cannot be allowed to be masked under pretext of political nationalism

I have already told you more than once, that you misinterpreted what I wrote there. It was not a racist comment by any means, perhaps you should try and read it once again.

We Bangladeshis bear the brunt of racism in the region, our country is thought of as a joke by both Indians, Pakistanis and Burmese.

I have known enough Pakistanis and Indian to know that, racist comments are directed towards bangalis in casual conversations for a quick gag.

I have myself been told to not take these racist comments seriously "just a joke Yaar".

So I'm pretty sure that we are the least racist people in the region, here on the sub Forum maybe just maybe we let loose a little because others belittle us.

I recently watched a mini documentary about the Fishing cat. I find it to be a very fascinating creature.

Almost as much as the mighty Malaysian king cobra

I hate stupidity and cruelty like this.
Note how cruel some of us can be. I was riding a motorcycle with my cousin in a village in Faridpur. For some reasons, I had to hit the brake to stop it. When I was going to re-start I looked at the right of the road. I saw a kitten in a small date tree full of long thorns crying with pain but is unable to get out.

I caught it with two hands. Both my hands got injured, it was painful. But, I finally took out that small kitten from the thorns. There is no way a small kitten would climb a tree with hundreds of long thorns. Some boys might have done it. I wonder what kind of upbringing our youngsters get that they become more evil than a Satan.

One neighbor volunteered to take it as a pet. He is certainly a good person.
