That’s true. Too many times Imran Khan has backed off from confrontation, and lost credibility.

Pakistan doesn’t just need change, it needs revolutionary change, which won’t come from marches or speeches. Since Imran Khan is not a revolutionary, it is beyond the capability of PTI to forcibly seize power and bring about the required changes.

I can only see two ways out.

1. Generals remove Whiskey & Co and agree to hold elections. In this case we’ll have a continuation of the status quo, with slow and steady improvement under a PTI govt.

2. Junior officers take power and hold elections. In this case there will be more reforms and faster improvement. However, the new top command of the army would need to agree to let civilians run the country as the constitution requires. We don’t want some crazy colonel ruling for the next 40 years like Gaddafi.

In both cases I see change coming from within the military.

It’s getting pretty clear that establishment will not backdown without a physical confrontation.
What is the end game here? If and it looks like elections will not be held in May will be the reaction of the people? Constitution will become meaningless.
Is that the reason they are going to attempt again to get Khan before election date?

Let’s assume the election date passes without elections. People start to march towards Islamabad and they will face heavy resistance . How many people is establishment willing to kill to stay in power? Do you guys think they go full on Rambo? If there is no constitution and they are determined to topple this corrupt regime, people won’t back down and Khan won’t call them to backdown either ,we could see casualties in hundreds.

Or you think there won’t be enough people on the streets and police and rangers will handle them easily.

آسان رستے ڈھونڈنا چھوڑ دو۔
پاکستان کو ایک اخلاقی تحریک کی ضرورت ہے نہ کہ سیاسی۔
عمران خان کے ساتھ ملکر لوگ ہلڑ تو کرنا چاہتے ہیں، پر کوئی شخص اس بد نصیب کو یہ نہیں بتاتا کہ ملک کا وزیراعظم بننے سے کچھ نہیں ہوتا، قوم کو سمت دینے والا ہی قوم کا بھلا کرجاتا ہے۔
عمران رہنما بنے، وزیراعظم وہ خود بن جائےگا۔

@WebMaster sir ji, its very hard to write urdu, as forum doesnt accept urdu as a language. Nowadays translators translate urdu in english within no time. So option to write proper-indented-urdu should also be included.
