It's like trying to be civil and reasonable about reality makes some of them think that we too are part of their delusions of grandeur.. Shudra = Dalit =\= South Indian.
Meaning a South Indian doesn't necessarily mean a shudra.
Caste system exists everywhere in India and so it extends to South India too.

What are you talking about?
I am an Indian.I can see the difference to our nation within past decade.Salary ,facilities and Pension tripled in our family.A SL or a Chinese have a lot of limitation to see that.First you should acknowledge.
And I am talking about an average middle class family in India .Then Perhaps you can imagine heightened economic activity in my nation.Most of Indian members is the direct or indirect beneficiary of that GDP growth of India.
If you cant realize then it is your problem.

We have the huge diversification as well, since I am a 184cm tall southerner, while I feel average among the younger generation folks in North China.

The PLA soldiers you guys encountered might mostly come from Sichuan or other regions in Southwest China, they may not be very tall compared to the folks in North China, but still 5'2 is purely nonsense (even many Chinese girls are taller than this), mostly about 5'7 to 5'9 is more realistic.

I didn't know that the Chinese have increased that much in average heights !

I'd look like a midget standing next to you at 5'8 (173cm) !
