Even after 75 years we are same in many aspects and India is no developed supa powa.

That's true, independent judiciary is a myth in India and Pakistan, govt has control over it. Tbh, even in the most developed parts of the world, it is a myth, the only difference is the degree of independence, if you are rich and poweful and can get good lawyers you can get away with almost anything, look at OJ simpson, plenty of examples like this. The current abortion ban in the US is just because judges are under control of the republican party.

Very few countries if any have independent judiciary, maybe a handful of nordic states, Japan, few other european nations, thats pretty much it. Even in places like South Korea judges are under heavy influence of "Chaebols"

Pakistan needs to bring about change from the grass root level of corruption, and the selling of morals, dignity and ethical values if not controlled at the core level our beloved homeland will continue to nose dive on the international and national level.

If Pakistan can control the corrupt and immoral individuality from the average joe to the national and governmental level these kinds of attacks on our brothers and sisters across the border will not be so repetitive. 1. Convict mentioned by you was juvenile and at that time no juvenile could be sentenced for more than 3 years.
2. This lead to huge uproar and law was revised in 2015 and now juveniles (16-18) with heinous crime can be tried as adults. So, the example you are giving resulted in change of law, whereas in Gujarat law was suitably misused.
3. Kejriwal offered him sewing machine because it was mandated by law to support such juvenile.
NOW MOST IMPORTANT PART.......
NO ONE ORGANISED FELCITATION CEREMONY FOR HIM FOR PUTTING AN IRON ROD INSIDE A GIRL.

In Gujarat people are being felicitated for raping a pregnant woman and killing 3 year old.
