I was born in Islamabad though I have stayed most of my life away from Pakistan. I am Pakistani first. Why is my history so much of a concern to you people. I don't want trouble for my family in Lucknow. We have enough hindutvas to deal with as it is. Hardly so. This is a thread condemning todays Hindus not Hinduism. I have noted that Hinduism is a beautiful religion with some of the best animal protection ideals in it. No other religion has so much respect for the animal as Hinduism. However is it not worry some what some practitioners of Hinduism are doing to minorities and against their own religion? Selling cows to muslims who will eat them themselves yet lynching a muslim for selling cattle? Harming elephants and keeping them in slave-like conditions.

This is very much like Salman Taseers murder in Pakistan. Are we condemning Islam if we suggest revocation of the blasphemy law. In reality I have noticed that Indian Hindus and Pakistani Muslims are far more similar than it appears. Both have the same hot headed, religiously orthodox mindsets.

My ethnicity is Lucknowi regardless. And that is unfair. Do Indians lose their identity going abroad? I count myself as a Lucknowi ethnically and a Pakistani nationally. But you are right I have much more link to Pakistanis than anything.
