Last week I've visited Kashmir (Rawalakot) and stayed there till yesterday 21st Morning. I want to share my experience with you all but firstly I want to let you know that currently the weather is very cold there and more than 80% of population lives in villages where use of Electricity is just for lightening purpose and nothing else. One more thing which many of you probably not aware about is that Kashmir is currently producing around 1900 MW from its Mangla dam and another project of 950-MW is about to complete in near future. The total requirement of Whole Kashmir (Pakistan administered) is less than 500-MW.
Now have a look at Electricity availability in Kashmir during 24-hours.
Availability Time:
06:00am to 08:00am (02)
11:00am to 12:00pm (01)
02:00pm to 03:00pm (01)
06:00pm to 08:00pm (02)
09:00pm to 11:00pm (02) (rarely used by people)
01:00am to 04:00am (03) (no one use at this time)

Is this a justice or will it work for a long time?

Think Please.............................

Don't worry, Pakistan government will soon give Azad Kashmir with world class infrastructure, power, security, education, transportation, healthcare as enjoyed by the rest of its provinces.

It already has all of that , better than the Indian occupied lands.....but again, what would you know, sadly you can't visit in your lifetime.

The current Maximum installed output of Mangla is around 1,100 MW........plus during winters and low river flow Dam power output is less.........at least get your facts right when you want to stage a propaganda.

KPK produces about 4000 MW and it's peak demand is about 2000 MW in summers but there is loadshedding of even 16 hours in some areas I heard that. Is this justice?

your figures are before the expansion of this project and even if 13 to 1500 MW; I've mentioned that Kashmir needs only 350MW but still facing load shedding...

Why is this in Members club ?
Anyway.. Pakistan do not really care about so called " Azad Kashmir" ( Azad Kashmir).

Sharam to tujhe ati nai, jha ration card le aur hindu ban jha.

AJK also have huge electricity theft and line losses. And don't forget these dams cost billions of dollars (which rest of Pakistanis pay) and plus AJK receive royalties every year for producing electricity.

So at least get your facts right.

Keep India out of this, please.

Nepali don't quote me when i quote Indian.
