Yes increase prices so that industries close and demand drop further(50% is industrial consumption) ..thus decrease in consumption will magically adress capacity payment issue(reverse patwari logic)

Also the closure of industry will also cause increase in exports(reverse patwari logic)

You are correct.

We get sensible ideas or are informed of sensible ideas which in the end are spoon fed to us by the Creator ( call him God or call it Nature ) yet we fail to enact those sensible ideas and create a mess or maintain the mess.

Better option would have been throwing market bonds at 8% and building plants by own money (like RNLG plants we did)

Yes it was IK fault to fix wheat at 1200 rs for 5 years between 2012-2018 that caused progressive decline from 2016-2019

IK forced nawaz sharif in 2016 to do so
