It happens a lot in China too. Only it does not get reported. I was not excusing or calling for rape, but asking that guy to stop pretending being shocked. Given we are living in the time of ISIS, surely one must be a fool to not understand there are no limits to depravity men can descend to.

Even if 1 gang rape is reported every month, that makes it 12 gang rapes per annum. I am sure if you were to look for gang rapes, there will be more than that found in any Western country per real number as well as per capita basis. Just because they do not talk about it does not mean that it does not happen.

There are lot more rapes in india...which goes unreported. I do not need to look at stupid statistics. I have been to india and have lived there. From my experience, Rapes are big issue in india.

Oh I live in India and as a woman I can see your assumption is assnine. There are in fact very few rapes which goes unreported. Indians believing in prevention better than cure, are rather careful where their womenfolk go and tend to keep a watchful eye on them. I for instance do not know anyone who has been raped in my immediate circle or extended circle. Given how many women are stepping out to work at night and it has become so commonplace, the women of India certainly do not share your apprehension.

India is incredible. But for the jaundiced, the world looks yellow. Likewise.
