Eight soldiers killed, Istanbul palace attacked as Turkish unrest mounts

Looks like turkey is going to suffer the same way we suffered because of the war in Afghanistan. We both have unstable neighbor hoods.

.
Look people the conflict in Turkey with pkk predates Syria and Iraq by a long shot, it isnt the first turbulent time and by far not the heaviest, ask before drawing apocalyptic scenarios.

The military operations are a response to pkk's multiple violation of ceasefire and peace talks, think about this before making us the guilty ones.

i will say it again and again everyone would have been better off if the situation is syria was resolved at first we all suffer because of it now and of course the syrian people payed a huge price and all for what ??

And what you dont know is that the public was fed up with goverments passive approach on pkk when they once again violated the cease fire.

Plus what do you think that Turkey will let ypg to form a state in Syria which will be the next hub for pkk?
Ypg shouldnt expect goodwill from Turkey as long as they wave Apo posters.

Not to mention that the operation against pkk doesnt weaken Kurds in Syria at all, all operation are being executed in SE Turkey and KRG, you might want to check the map maybe.

After the attacks, mass arrests and man-hunt took place in Istanbul. Perpetrators have been detained as well.

For american interests in the middle east.

.
The situation in middle east is getting murkier and all countries need to unite to sort this out before situation goes out of hand. the rivalry between different nations needs to take a break to fight common enemy

. .
True. They and the syrian regime sponsored terror groups against us in Iraq, today karma got them. Lool. Reason im shedding no tears for them.:pop:

By that logic, UK killed hundreds of thousands of people in its colonies (perhaps even millions) and Hitler killed 450,000 British soldiers and civilians and cut 'Great Britain' wings and turned it into little Britain. Karma. :)

May the fallen soldiers rest in peace. I don't really have an opinion on the Turkey-PKK conflict but terrorism must never go unpunished. Good to see that the perpetrators will be brought to justice.

Rip...
All hails to wrong policies of erdogan. Secular turkey was way better.
Turkey was not like this:(

By that logic, UK killed hundreds of thousands of people in its colonies (perhaps even millions)

Only in Bengal, British empire created two artificial famines and in the process killed tens of millions of people.

Bengal famine of 1770 - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Bengal famine of 1943 - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

They love to artificially create famines and use it as a politico-military tool. Nowadays, they call it 'sanctions' and 'embargo'. Back then the vocabulary was simpler and they just called it, "oops it's another famine".

.
I think Turks have built quite a strong Military and all but it was all built for defense against External Forces and during last few years of Peace in Turkey due to which they might have overlooked this important area and havent concentrated on internal Security structure that much and now Anti State elements are trying to exploit this so Turkey needs to strengthen their Internal Security Structure on priority Bases as Nationalism isnt enough to fill that void rather Institutional Reforms are also needed in this regards. So before making Aggressive Decisions they require to make their internal Security strong otherwise more attacks would lead to Instability within Turkey in a long run.
