Eid message: Mullah Omar urges fighters to protect Afghan borders, not interfere in other countries

Nah for Pakistan to succeed all these Taliban groups need to be eliminated. Afghan Taliban harbors TTP

whoever does harbor our enemies must be eliminated - COAS made this clear

and this will certainly mean we must go after groups that are having sanctuary in afghan territories; as well as "diplomatic missions" that are assisting them

i think he is meaning to say to resist foreign occupation and protect Afghanistan's borders.....and also saying that his organization has no global jihadi type ambitions - since the west has often grouped him along with al qaeda and other global jihadi terrorist organizations

the Afghan taleban, Hezb i Islami and like-minded groups have by and large disowned the actions of TTP, LeI and some of the other break-away disorganized groups which are busy fighting eachother (when the Pakistan Army isnt kiling them one by one)
Lahori boy, stop living in denial. First of all dont mention hizb e islami, they are unimportant. Secondly Afghan taliban have not "disowned" TTP, their stance is very clear from the begining that their policy is not to interfere in internal affairs of pakistan i.e no taking of side in war between TTP and pak army but every TTP fighter is welcomed to join their ranks against NATO/ANA and stay in afghanistan as melma/mehman. If TTP fighter is staying in the house of afghan taliban and your army ask them to hand over him to pakistan, they would refuse....its called pashto

Yes we all know Good Taliban bad Taliban.
was just trying to make those understand the difference who are naive

thats debatable ....depends lot upon the willingness of military especially if they really are at comfort with mullah omer and co ...resources...strength of that group....time frame required....

If Pakistan is at good terms with mulah omer and co i dont think so we would see any operation against them besides most of them are operating on the other side of the border...yes there is infiltration also but their battle ground is afghanistan as opposed to TTP

besides even nato has failed against afghani taliban ....so i doubt Pakistan military will risk it...TTP are easy to wipe out ...they are small morons

Why don't I answer with this quote

"I don't think so, Haqani Network supports TTP in terms of hideouts. TTP also claims to be in regular communication with Haqani Network. That was the reason Pakistan Army was hesitating for conducting Operation in North as 70% Talibans there belong to Haqani Network. But i would agree that Haqani doesn't fight against Pak Army at least but they do support TTP".:toast_sign:
Your reply contrasts the attachment of betraying profusion of your cognitive impediments. You need to see a good psych. :cheesy:

Yar as far as i know ....haqani group was in talks with TTP to convince them to refrain from any such activities inside Pakistan but TTP are not willing to listen ....problem with haqani network/afghani taliban is that they can't indulge in war with TTP ...firstly because they already are fighting against NATO so doing this will dilute their strength...secondly they want TTP people to join in hands with them against NATO so to further strengthen afghan taliban ..thirdly why they will bother that much , why create a new headache ...

First off, only someone with clear self confidence issues would speak in such ridiculous, unintelligible English. Even Shakespeare would scoff at that sentence. Only person who needs a psych would be yourself. Looks like you can type the talk just can't speak the talk. Why don't you learn that English is meant to be spoken with clear definitive sentences and words and not picked out of the dictionary and placed together to make you sound intelligent. Which evidently you are not.

Exactly these messages draw sympathies here: singling out NATO/US as enemy.

its called Pashto??

or you mean Pashtunwali - the code of honour which has been abused

afghan taleban arent saints nor do we have them in our pocket.....nor do we control them. But its known that the 2 organizations have different strategies, different leadership...one is centralized, other is rag-tag and de-centralized

your posts dont reflect reality

This clarifies to any confusion people may have towards Taliban. There is two types of Taliban groups; Afghan Taliban and TTP aka Tehreek Taliban Pakistan.

Afghan Taliban
  • Afghan Taliban, former Afghan Mujahideen, was supported by ISI/CIA to resist USSR in the past, and now, resisting USA.
  • Afghan Taliban has never attacked on the sovereignty of Pakistan nor endorse anti-Pakistani ideology as well.
  • Afghan Taliban never interfered in the internal matter of Pakistan.
  • Afghan Taliban warned TTP to stop attacking on the sovereignty of Pakistan and urged them to support their cause [resist USA], but TTP didn't listen.
  • Afghan Taliban has nothing to do with TTP, but some of fighters TTP consists are former Afghan Mujahideen, yet some of them are pro-peace regarding Pakistan; however, the leader of TTP has any other plans for Pakistan [to continue fighting].
  • Afghan Taliban faces hostile environment from Afghan government and Afghan forces including its intelligent services.
  • Afghan Taliban is fighting against Northern Aliance as well; disagree with their policy regarding the handling affairs of Afghanistan as well as their policy towards Pakistan endorsing anti-Pakistan ideology.
  • Afghan Taliban has been attacked by USA and other foreign elements in Afghanistan, Allahu Alim.

Tehreek Taliban Pakistan

  • A newly created group started attacking on the sovereignty of Pakistan through the suicide operations at most.
  • TTP that is responsible for killing more than 50,000 civilians including its recent attack on Karachi Airport.
  • Pakistan government brought a peace negotiation, proposed by Imran Khan, to TTP and honored peace treaty, yet TTP broke the peace treaty despite of fake promise to honor which suggests it was buying time for its preparation of mission [attack on Karachi Airport].
  • TTP is waging its war against Pakistan, Muslim nation, responsible for killing more than 50,000 civilians which majority of them were Muslim; Pashtun to be precise.
  • TTP has no connection to Afghan Taliban nor helping Afghan Taliban against USA, a invader presently.
  • TTP is provided with haven by Afghan government [Northern Aliance] and Afghan forces including its intelligent service.
  • TTP is funded by more than one nation; foreign elements.
  • TTP is not being attacked by USA in Afghanistan.

Try to understand the long term goals of both groups carefully. Now, what serves the beneficial of Pakistan in the long run and what doesn't serve Pakistan considering Afghanistan is now open platform for the enemy of Pakistan. Then again, Afghanistan has been always been open platform given the history of invasion by foreign elements.
