This is not a sectarian issue.

Pakistan is a big country. Big Population . Different Eid days just add flavor to the festivities.

I dont like such flavour but unity on such issues would be great and less confusing for Muslims and Non muslims but its all matter of egos for mullahs to agree with others mullah belong to different school of thoughts

This has nothing to do with unity.

Muslim World spans the whole Globe. They cant all celebrate on the same day. Its religiously and Technically not possible.

Eid is actually the very next day of Ramadan. 3 days is actually for that.

In 3 days the whole World has celebrated Eid technically and religiously.

Thats what Islam says.

Excellent decision by committee as per the rules, totally abide by the rules despite my wish that Pakistan also celebrates Eid tomorrow i.e. Friday Jun 15 since we will be celebrating Eid tomorrow in Sweden.

Sir what will happen in case all Muslim countries unite under one government? And Turkey and KSA are considered provinces with their Royat e Hilal committees reporting the sightings to a central sighting committee in Makkah?

I know it is very difficult but I am just throwing a hypothetical question..

That is theoritically possible but then again it will be just the middle east not the entire Muslim World.

The state is indebted to accept the witness of moon sighting by any Muslim reporting and there will always be Reports due to many factors let alone sometimes its a Mirage or a mind playing Tricks on them.

Islam is an easy Religion. People make it hard so that it remains exclusive to one particular Status Quo

From Indonesia to Western African Muslim countries, if unite to report to one central government (let suppose in Turkey) and the central Moon Sighting Committee is established in Makkah presided by Mufti Muneeb ur Rahman, what would be his decision?

Islam doesn't have a concept of boundaries.. If a Muslim calls Pakistan from Turkey and gives Shahadah about moon sighting, technically we should accept his Shahadah if he fulfills all the shraee requirements..

If the zakat Collection is being done from the two mashriqs and the two maghribs then the state is indebted to declare his shahadah as True and declare end of Ramadan.
