Why didnt they expand baitulmal instead of creating a new system. Baitul mal could have been made into a mega non profit giant to dispense social welfare benefits.
Anyways cant trust the corrupt nishtar family to even run this effeciently.

After the 18th amendment baitul maal is under the provincial government. They already have funds in billions but we never heard anything good. Tomorrow PPP is holding a jalsa in Karachi.BTW who will bear the expenses of the jalsa .Non-other than BAITUMAAL of govt of Sindh.

As for the negativity inside Pakistan--hard to say why but I remember even in the early 1970s it was quite a common phrase on the Pakistani lips: 'Pakistan exists and that's enough proof there is a God'. Now, mind you, Pakistan was ahead of India in the quality of life and economic growth well into the 1980s. Even India's Shehkar Gupta has a video saying like 'My eyes popped up when I visited Pakistan in the 1980s; it looked much more developed than India' (Paraphrased).
