Since Nasser Egypt has been Military Junta and under Nasser and Soviet Aid it was most advanced Arab country for it's time, but everything went downhill when Sadat died, if Sadat had lived and not Mubarak then Egypt would have been alot more developed. Mubarak was corrupt to the core Mubarak is the reason why Radical groups are so strong and illiteracy is high. it's best to prevent Egypt from turning into a Pakistan.

This is a disgraceful scene - i am saddened that this has become the scene in Egypt. I dont really care what the protesters have done or have been acused of - no human should treat women like that.
I think someone is answerable for this outrageous behaviour - no muslim or in fact any other religion would sanction barbaric acts of this nature. Extremism of any nature is bad - this is the sign of new democracy in Egypt? - Egypt is dead. R.I.P. Egypt.

Yes, it is much worst. I don't think any military going to respect protesters especially women who are involved in the violence protest. No doubt, next few years, there will be more deep trouble in Egypt and maybe wars invasion.

Fundamentalists are talking over pakistan since Zia, however Egypt was the most Advanced Arab country for it's time under the Arab Nationalist and Secularist Nasser. if Sadat Lived Radicalization of Egypt wouldn't have been that bad it's Mubarak corruption and illiteracy that let it go that, the Military will ensure Egypt not turn into another theocratic radical state.

The army doesn't want to let the power to the people . From now army refrained a little to such actions (except against christians), but we can see they don't accept the last elections rules .
Egypt is military power. From now nothing in the hand of Islamists.
