pasting there pics is not a security threat?
the actual army commandos do not look like them, these guys are more of a display objects.
they belong to unit 777 and are used more like a anti riot force,
the name is misleading.
Actual this force has been demoted for there foolishness.
unit 777 has lost all its glory to be used as an actual military force.
In 1978 they "rescued" 30 hostages in Cyprus from terrorists but because they forgot to tell the Cypriots they were coming, They lost 15 of their own in a firefight with Cypriot National Guardsmen who thought they were more terrorists.
In 1985 they blasted their way onto a hijacked 737 at Malta with explosives killing 20 passengers instantly. They then stormed the plane firing wildly and throwing hand grenades (In a highjacked plan !) . Passengers who fled were cut down on the tarmac having been mistaken for terrorists and were shot dead by snipers . 57 passengers died.
Sad.... but somehow its funny

The Special Forces which engaged Larnka Operation wasn't Task Force 777, it was the Egyptian Thunderbolt which has been sent by President Anwar Al Sadat on a short notice and without even telling the Cypriots...
Later, TF 777 has been created due to the above mentioned failure...

Yes it was TF 777 and yes 20 passengers got killed and thanks to the aircraft company which gave the forces wrong blueprints... the actual ones got no 20 seats while on the reality it was something else!
