agree sirAfter reading some posts from some "Brothers" (lol) on this thread I beg to Egp Govt not to buy 3rd grade , useless , toothless , light aircraft (only best for training) JF-17 …………
To Pakistani posters , let it go brothers , it wont worth , safe your time & energy , some people and countries are high in their egos let them stay high..
its news to me sirPAF will bring them when they feel the need, they know how important they are in adding flying hours.
As i said before, the Soviet aircraft were at that time being outpaced by the west. 5 Migs piloted by Soviets were all shot down while inflicting no losses. F-4s outclassed Mig-21 and mig-17s by a large margin.
Egypt already has the K-8E production line..they want to make the JF-17 there..KSA has to get a new production line and plant..No to production line. They can have planes but for production line KSA is much batter place
That is a fallacy, Egypt alone shot down more than 200 Usraeli fighter planes in the Ramadan war of 1973.. it is well documented here on PDF..So what you're saying is Pakistani pilots with Soviet aircraft have a better kill ratio against the Israelis than Arab nations who own these planes?
I read up on it more and only 1 confirmed kill by a Pakistani pilot is confirmed. The rest were all claims and discreditied.PAF fighters flew arab jets, most of which were soviet.
No, Pakistan only had 1 confirmed kill in the 1973 war which was SattarSo what you're saying is Pakistani pilots with Soviet aircraft have a better kill ratio against the Israelis than Arab nations who own these planes?

Alvi.

Even professional Soviet pilots were shot down by Mirages, and F-4s. This shows it was not the pilots, but the aircraft they flew. Sattar Alvi had 1 relatively lucky kill against the Mirage III which was a bit better than the Mig-21 at the time, but no F-4. Most of the aerial losses of Israel were actuallly Soviet SAM systems in Egypt, and Syria.
agree sir
its news to me sir
Planes aren't super hard to fly especially since they all share similar features. Hell, just recently in Libya an American merc had a simple pilots license, and flew a Mirage F1 until he was shot down. He had no experience flying actual jets, and as I said before he got the job done.Ok so the wikipedia numbers about Israeli planes being shot down are wrong and the numbers for Pakistani kills are overrated but the Mirage kill with Mig is lucky for a PAF pilot who doesn't fly Migs at all?
I probably know more about planes than 99% of people my age, this is my hobby after all. Age doesn't really factor into intelligence considering there are 10, and 15 year olds who are smarter than most, if not all of the members on this forum.I dont understand, why people are wasting their time with a teenager, are they that desperate to have themselves heard?
so all claims are wrong and arab countries gave PAF pilots fake medals. That includes your own country too.I read up on it more and only 1 confirmed kill by a Pakistani pilot is confirmed. The rest were all claims and discreditied.

First we do not underestimate the value of Pakistan or Pakistani products, but they simply do not fit our requirements

The FC-1 has been rejected several times over the past 12 years. Pakistan and China have repeatedly offered to Egypt several times and have been tested and failed to be accepted by the EAF
FC-1 BLOCK i & II is rejected before FC-1 BLOCK III is not yet real product
Always FC-1 news
FC-1 is offer to Egypt by the Chinese and Pakistani authorities, not the EAF or the Egyptian Ministry of Defense
The project of the FC-1 aircraft is mainly Chinese with a Pakistani participation in financing the project by 50% and some Pakistanis also Pakistan participation is to assemble the aircraft and manufacture the Avionics at a local manufacturing rate. 58% China is the owner of the project. K-8 Produced in Myanmar and Egypt with license from China
It is simple China is the one who officially presents Egypt with its domestic production, which is the main and fundamental decision
Let's talk about some of the specifications of the Chinese FC-1
FC-1 climb rate of 254 meters per second, which is the weakest in its class, with F-16, while Egypt has Mirage 2000, the climb rate is 285 meters per second, the Rafale 305 meters per second, the MIG-29 IS 330 meters per second
So Su-35 has a climbing rate higher than 280 meters per second and is a heavy aircraft
Same thing about acceleration

According to the radar radar, the LKF601E Air Cooling Airborne AESA is 170 km for a radar target of RCS 5 m2
This Radar is able to track and target 15, and simultaneously engage 4 opponent aircrafts with the Radar Guided Missiles
While MIG-35 Zhuk-AMEh RADAR

The Zhuk-AMEh can track up to 30 targets and can simultaneously attack up to six aerial and four ground targets, a Russian defence industry source told IHS Jane's at Airshow China.
Zhuk-AMEh Range to 260 km.
radar weighs about 100 kg and has received a certificate that enables it to be exported.

The Russians will supply China with an RD-93MA with Trust 9300 KN while the MG 35 will supply the RD-33MKM with a boost of at least TRUST 9,500 KN engines. The Russians will not offer a more powerful version of the MiG-35 to make the Russian plane superior
The Russians have already presented Egypt with the production of the MIG 35 three months ago. I gave an example in the previous post that how to buy large numbers of aircraft and produce locally will reduce its price as a result of the local component
MIG-35 , Rafale , SU-35 can face F-15I and F-16I & F-35I are better able to fight
Egypt does not want to face the MIG-21 to get a plane that excels like FC-1
In a pastiness propaganda operation to but the MiG-21 in a Pre-killing Zone
If the life of a FC-1 compared to 4000 flight hours and compared to the price of a plane and assume 30 million dollars and its load of arms compared to the MiG 35, the Chinese plane is more expensive than the Russian plane actually
First, the Egyptian F-16s equipped with AIM-7M missiles are not without the BVR missiles. Some of the idiots and idiots are also known. Egypt's MiG-29 are equipped with the R-77, the Rafale and Mirage 2000s With MICA and ready for Meteor
EGYPT SU-35 Will Equipped with R-37M and R-77
Creating an illusion through the promotion of a plane such as FC-1 that Egypt does not have the financial Resources is big Joke
Egypt over 6 years bought 94 fighter jets
Over the next six years, we will buy more fighters with similar numbers at least From MIG-35 & RAFALE & SU-35
View attachment 568254
Buying second Deal of MIG-35 RAFALE fighter jets, SU-35 is inevitable To reduce the costs of the operation, Overfull and maintenance of fighters
Egyptian army Have Multiple sources of funding so do not stop purchases of Egypt from arms
For Example
Since November 2018 Egypt sign
Deal for 24 SU-35
Deal For 20 AW149
Deal for 32 Wing Loong 1-D UAV
7 Battery IRIS-T SLM With Over 500 Million usd
Egypt has decided instead of upgrade F-16 and putting the EAF under US pressure to buy better and cheaper planes such as The MiG-35 is supplied with all kinds of weapons that Egypt wants and thus the Egyptian F-16 turn into COIN /CAS
F-16 SLEP and Upgrade with AESA RADAR AND Aim-120 , AIM-9X , JDAM , AGM-154 will cost 30 million usd for each fighter
View attachment 568255
New MIG-35 will cost 50 Million usd with complete new life better solution for egypt
Same Mig21 and Mig17s shot down quite a few F4 and F105s in Vietnam. As i said before, the Soviet aircraft were at that time being outpaced by the west. 5 Migs piloted by Soviets were all shot down while inflicting no losses. F-4s outclassed Mig-21 and mig-17s by a large margin.
I meant the 1970 and 1973 wars. I knew SAMs were responsible for most Israeli losses but some were a-a combat.Same Mig21 and Mig17s shot down quite a few F4 and F105s in Vietnam.
Majority of Israeli aircraft in 1973 were shot by SA2 Sams and not by fighter aircraft. In 1967 almost all of EAF was shot down on the ground!
If engine is weak then why buying Mig-35/29s from Russia?? It has same engine.
Fact is no other aircraft is available to Egypt with customization options like JFT, block-3 will be bang of the bucks as it will be low cost 4++ gen fighter which can perform majority of roles which expensive birds performs and it has very good standoff / BVR capability with SOM, RAAD, C-802AKG, PL-10/15, REKs, etc.
