According to a report by IHS Jane's, Egypt received eight Rafale aircraft from France’s Dassault Aviation Group.

"The company currently has a backlog of 101 Rafale aircraft, of which 31 are for the French military and 70 are for export customers. This is to be boosted by a further 12 aircraft once the company received a down-payment from Qatar for the aircraft ordered in December 2017. In 2016, the company had a backlog of 110 Rafale aircraft, with 32 for the French military and 78 for export customers," the report says.

Small complement of information here :

Dassault has been retooling for over 18 months
so the line in 2018 can pop up to 2.2 acs/month.

At that rhythm, starting in Summer, export orders
would be fulfilled by 2021's end.

What's more, this article as so many others mixes up
deliveries and production. Some of the Qatari Rafales
are active as test beds already to finalize integration.
Oh! And a single one was received by the AdlA!

Have a good day, Tay.

When you say export...you mean those 78 pcs, right?
So by 2021, all export is fulfilled...then what about l'Armée de L'air?
or by 2021, all backlog fulfilled?

If the AdlA only gets a couple airframes yes Hanni!
But that's what the govt wants, it happens despite
the AF brass preferring a minimum around 4-6 ACs.

Frames produced is always tricky to follow but just
remember two things : Trappier ( DA CEO ) said that
2018 would be the year of the Rafale a while back &
he likely meant both in production and deliveries but
also that Qatar wanted about a dozen birds delivered
at once so that training in their French tutoring sqdn
could begin in earnest. Expected ToA : August-October.

All the DQ units not needed for testing & all the EQs
of that set are likely built almost in toto and in various
degrees of finalization and acceptance trials ( 8 - 9 months ).

All the best to you and yours especially these days, Tay.
