The Imam of Al-Azhar University is scheduled to pronounce religious ruling on death sentence of Muhammad Morsi on June 2nd. If Al-Azhar agrees with the civil court the Al-Azhar will lose its standing among the other Muslim states especially Pakistan.

It's not like anyone of us are supporting Zia's takeover or Bhutto's execution. I for one think that Egypt should take a leaf out of Pakistan's history and not go on the same path as us. End military interference in politics. No matter how long this regime will last, the Muslim Brotherhood won't go away because there wouldn't be any alternatives for the people to support.

My post in this thread I said irrespective of where Pakistan stands in all this. Egypt is making a mistake, and I say that for Egypt's sake. You will be back to the events of 2011 most likely, you will have some sort of a removal or overthrow inevitably, you'd be VERY lucky if it isn't bloody next time either.

As much as I disliked Bhutto and his damaging legacy, Zia was possibly one of the worst things to happen to Pakistan. He was a continuation of his dictatorial kin, but he was worse. Every single misfortune of ours from the 90's onwards can be traced back to him somehow, that is a feat that hardly any politician has accomplished.

don't compare Pakistan with Arabs countries, Pakistan is more civilized than Arab Countries..

just as a case.. Pakistan Army never butchered Pakistani civilians whether the ruler is from Army or Civilian.
but the Arab Armies whether it is of Egypt, Syria, Bahrain, Qatar, UAE, SA, Iraq, Jordan, Sudan etc
they kill their OWN civilians in mass numbers.. and they won't hesitate of doing it..
