Egypt's government has shut down 64 media outlets and its parliament approved a controversial deal to sell two islands to Saudi Arabia, despite a public outcry.

The two Islands were Saudi, handed to Egypt some time ago, so there is no sale of islands.. some Egyptians are not happy about it, but the main positive is that KSA will build a huge bridge through this islands to link Egypt with Saudi mainland and thus linking Africa to western Asia..it is very advantageous to both countries..

Pharaoh Sisi did not sell part of Egypt for Saudi aid, he did it because Saudi dictatorship/terrorists put money into Sisi's personal bank account.

Shameful that Egyptian authorities are so greedy and stupid to go ahead with this ill fated deal to sell Egyptian Land to a foreign government even though it's another Arab country. Egyptian soil belongs to Egypt and it's people, not to whoever got the money to buy it. Egyptians should be extremely upset and dismayed to allow this heinous deal to go through, I question first it's validity and then it's wisdom to do such a heinous Transfer. Egyptians should be in the streets protesting and raising hell to stop such deal from ever coming to light...

There are millions of Pakistanis getting paid by Arabs. However money is not like rice, because unlike Iran $ is only airlifted there.

There are millions of Pakistanis getting paid by Arabs. However money is not like rice, because unlike Iran $ is only airlifted there.

Those Pakistani's are not "getting paid" by arabs but recieving salaries for services rendered...a fair transaction....pakistan also has large communities is usa and britain and they earn their due share by hard wark there too....dont act as if the saudis are doing us favours, those labourers in arabia earn their due share by hard work, dont flaunt and squander the respect of ur own country men...one drop of sweat of a pakistani labourer is more valuble to me than all the oil fields of arabia..they needed cheap labour and we provided it, they avoided labour from niegbouring arab countries for obvious reason and still they needed muslims so as not to become overwhelmed by pagans and christians hence we did them a favour...

A good step by the Egyptian government...media crack down is necessary when the media start to work against the govt. Such type of crackdown also need in Pakistan which are engaged in propagation against the present govt. There are number of Channels which work as per special agenda to malign the govt or to make failure the govt. Such channels get the benefit using label of media when the voice or any action is taken against them they use the media that it is being suppressed. It is always blamed the govt for banning the liberty of media...
