Dont understand the logic behind this Ecuadorian move. Ecuador should very well know that by granting asylum to Assange, it is upsetting Britain, Sweden and US. Could there be China angle ? Just curious

It doesn't do Mr.Assange any good. He is a prisoner within the compound, stepping out will guarantee both an arrest & extradition to Sweden. Does not matter if Ecuador has granted him asylum, the British won't give him a safe passage out.

They are extraditing him for questioning to Sweden. And Sweden refused time and again to interrogate him in UK without any reason. Sounds fishy. I believe when Julian Assange says that he will be eventually extradited to US.

I also believe when he says
1. his life is in danger
2. he will be persecuted and has no reason to believe to get a fair trial.

He meets the two conditions for political asylum which the hypocrite west itself laid down. So me and all free citizen of the world must support and stand behind the decision of Ecuador.

Just look how pathetic Britain has become. How a country which was once a superpower reduced to a show monkey dancing to the tunes played by Washington. It bends over backwards to win and do favors for Washington. This is a lesson for 'gods' sitting in Washington too. but men dont heed the lessons of history when in power. They think they are the masters of universe and they will create history.

Turkey is the only country which fought against the superpower of the time and won. Thats how Mustafa Kemal became Ataturk.Turkish war of independence was a great victory for the people of Turkey and a great inspiration the muslim of subcontinent.
