Govt has right to pass any law its not job of EC its job of SC to do interpretation EC job is to held free and fair elections not to tell what is right and what is wrong any issue SC is there stop crying

NADRA do so. I have NADRA birth certificate and Form B for all my children.
Many people don't have access to NADRA.


PTI wants EVMs so that they can easily manipulate elections as they don't want a free and fair election.

Federal Minister for Science and Technology Shibli Faraz said that to make elections fair and transparent, between 350,000 and 400,000 electronic voting machines (EVMs) were required, which would be manufactured in six months.

“Using indigenous technologies, the EVMs are being developed at half the cost of imported devices by the National University for Science and Technology, COMSATS and National Institute of Engineering,” Mr Faraz said in a meeting with media persons, conveying the prime minister’s wish to put the controversy over the electoral process to an end.

He said that the EVMs would be launched after Eidul Azha for the members of the National Assembly and the Election Commission of Pakistan for vetting and to convince them of its benefits.
With the aim to prove that technology was the only solution to improve the electoral process, the minister said, once the EVMs were developed, they would be tested in by-elections.

Should just import it from qualified vendors with auditing of ECP - a vendor who has the expertise. Developing an in house system and then using it for first time will make it even more controversial when you have ECP and opposition against any reforms.
