$593.5 billion (2009 est.)

The GDP has fallen in last year. So your economy is in recession. The growth rate has been negative 5.8%

This source talks about GDP Nominal but i was not able to find PPP. Its a very interesting source though - but i was not able to find PPP so far.

yaar (friend) nobody is denying Turkey has more GDP per capita. Turkey is one of the most developed countries in the world. Where India is under devoped. Why are you comparing Turkey with India? You should be comparing Turkey with European countries instead.

I think Turkey is the only Muslim country that has been classified as Developed Country. India too will get this rank in couple of decades but for now you should only be comparing with Other european countries instead.

guys i heard a economist few days ago.. and he was saying that global recession is not ended yet and economies will burst again in few months and this all because they injected money into it which is only a temporary dose for an economy...
On the other hand Pakistan has let its industry and economy to face the brunt in last few years thus now it is in a real strong situation than other countries and thus expected to perform well (InshaAllah) than many other countries.

I think we are seeing that in Europe right now
these bloody europeans have followed the accounting method applied by Satyam or they must have outsourced this work to Satyam computer , u know that no one can cook books like ramalinga raju
