There is MQM that failed repeatedly in Karachi which is in front of you. The only reason East Pakistan failed because they never wanted to be part of Pakistan given they were against the national policy of Pakistan to begin with; for starter, Urdu as official language. So naturally, Bangladesh got what it wanted, and now it is fighting for its survival resisting Indian influences.
