This list shows that "conservatives", at least the well known ones, have no real fan base. As a fan of Ahmadenijad, I did not vote in this majlis, because I don't trust either side anymore. The so called conservatives became anti-Ahmadenijad during his last two years, because they had no balls, and just wanted to ride the wave.
The principalists tried to cast Ahmadenijad away and recreate themselves, but they are so out of touch with the society, the same way they were out of touch in the last presidential elections. I mean, did Velayati & Haddad-Adel really expect to get enough votes to be president? Did Rezaee really think the 10th time is the charm?
The list is not yet final, but latest data is that Haddad-Adel is 31st! That's more than embarrassing, that's a crushing defeat for their side. I saw more campaigns in the city with Haddad-Adel's face on it then anyone else. Abu Torabifard is 34th. Zakani is 36th. Nabooyan is 52nd.
I am happy these guys got so few votes, and I'm also happy that someone like Aref became first. I'm not a reformist, but I like people sticking to their principles. Aref hasn't been changing colors every few base. Good for him, he deserved it.

Hope these old principalists learned their lessons, but I doubt it.

@mohsen, I think the reason conservatives won in non-Tehran cities, is because they didn't sell themselves out as much as the Tehran conservatives. All the loud Anti-Ahmadenijads conservatives were Tehrani politicians.
