I have recently come to know of the Durand Line issue and the hostilities between Afghanistan and Pakistan.
However I did not know of the Northern boundaries being settled by Britain or Russia. It is interesting that Afghanistan does not raise these boundaries as disputed land? I wonder why?
One thing I would like to ask is, are the (Pakistani) Pashtoons happy to be part of Pakistan or do they want to ( secretly) join Afghanistan as some have alleged?
I have some Pashtoon family members by marriage and some by blood (mixed marriages) and they all consider themselves Pashtoon and Pakistani. But of course my family does not represent the whole of Pashtoons.
