Drunk US Military Instructor Says Ukrainians are War Criminals

Minsk 2, Article 10: Withdrawal of all foreign armed formations, military equipment and mercenaries.

Yet, Russia argued it was not bound by the Agreement as it was not a party to it. Hence, Russian interventions continued.

Local Donbass forces were not foreign and there where no Russian forces in Donbass back then. Russia didn't violate Minsk Agreements.

Otherwise, the entire Islamic Caucasus, Dagestan and Chechnya, should have already been independent since they demand sovereignty since the 27th century.

The difference is Moscow granted Dagestan and Chechnya broad autonomy, something regime in Kiev and it's western backers refused to grant to Donbass. Regime in Kiev refused to even talk to Donbass and continued to kill people there.

There were no such purely local forces. They were and are influenced and controlled by Russia. Russia was in it in all manners except official recognition. Only the stupidest or those with agenda believed the otherwise.

Russia has exterminated the Caucasus Muslims. They were subject to periodic ethnic cleansing. Russia did not grant any semblance of real autonomy save appointing local sounding warlords loyal to Moscow. Moscow simply has outsourced brutal tactics to a local puppet.

There were volunteers from Russia and other countries fighting for Donbass just like there were US volunteers/mercenaries fighting in Nazi Azov Battalion.

There is evidence that regime in Kiev and it's western backers acted in bad faith:

Merkel’s, Hollande’s remarks on Minsk Accords signify betrayal — Russian top senator

The politician noted that Moscow ended up being the only co-author and guarantor of the Minsk Accords, stressing that now Russia is protecting the people of Donbass who "as it now turns out, have been betrayed by Berlin and Paris in Minsk.

MOSCOW, December 31. /TASS/. Remarks by former German Chancellor Angela Merkel and ex-French President Francois Hollande that the Minsk Agreements served to win time for Kiev to prepare for war are "documented betrayal," Deputy Speaker of the Federation Council Konstantin Kosachev said on Saturday.
"The admissions by Merkel and Hollande are proof of betrayal. The south-east of then Ukraine was betrayed by the West from the start despite the verbal fluff around it," the senator wrote on his Telegram channel. "The cost of this betrayal was thousands of human lives over the past eight years of civil war in Ukraine," he added.
The politician noted that Moscow ended up being the only co-author and guarantor of the Minsk Accords, stressing that now Russia is protecting the people of Donbass who "as it now turns out, have been betrayed by Berlin and Paris in Minsk".
On Friday, Hollande who participated in coordinating the set of measures on implementing the Minsk Accords in 2015 confirmed the statements made by ex-German Chancellor Angela Merkel that these agreements were needed to give Kiev time to prepare for an armed conflict. According to the LPR’s former ambassador to Russia Rodion Miroshnik, France was not going to implement UN Security Council Resolution 2202 upholding the implementation of the Minsk Accords even though the country’s permanent representative at the Security Council voted for it.

In an interview with the Zeit newspaper published on December 7, Merkel said that the Minsk Agreements were "an attempt to give time to Ukraine. It also used this time to become stronger as can be seen today. The Ukraine of 2014-2015 is not the modern Ukraine." According to the politician, "it was clear to everyone" that the conflict had stalled and the problem had not been resolved "yet this was precisely what gave Ukraine invaluable time." She expressed doubt that at that time NATO states would have been able to support Kiev to the extent that they do now. Russian President Vladimir Putin later said that her remarks were absolutely unexpected and disappointing.

What you wrote is not true. Chechen language is one of official languages in Chechnya. Regime in Kiev was trying to eradicate Russian language in Donbass and other regions of former Ukraine.

So was Saddam, but the geopolitical needs outweighed his monstrous nature.
The Ukrainians might very well be war criminals but then bringing down Russia and specifically Putin for the geopolitical gain is worth the price

They scream murder and genocide in the name of freedom and democracy.

That's incorrect. It was obvious that Russia encouraged, supported and managed insurgency inside Ukrainian national territory.

Russian aim has been to grab land, destroy Ukrainian sovereignty, erase its national identity and make it a failed state.

Interestingly, what Putin conspired on Ukraine has been falling on Russia itself.

What you wrote is not true. Chechen language is one of official languages in Chechnya. Regime in Kiev was trying to eradicate Russian language in Donbass and other regions of former Ukraine.

In the 19th century, Tsarist Russia killed over 2 million Caucasian people, which was about 75pct of the then population. What was not been killed were forced to exile. Hence, exile Caucasian populations in Jordan, Turkey, Israel, Germany and the US.

From the mud 90s and then early 2000s, under Putin, in two major Russian incursion into the North Caucasus, mainly Chechnya, half of the population was either killed or forced into exile.

Funnily enough, very much like today in Ukraine, Putin first used new recruits, then criminals with a promise of a pardon if served one year in the Caucasus war, and eventually mercenaries.

If Putin did not find his useful henchman to act as a brutal warlord, at least in Chechnya, he would face similar insurgency.

But in Ukraine, he can hardly hardly find such a useful tool.

Why? Does stating realpolitik not suit your appetite?
You live in the UK and pay taxes that go towards financing some of the monsters - you seem ok with it because at the end the UK government sees it as advancing its interests.

Don't even talk about things you have no idea about. In my country, the shitters are send to the proverbial toilet. While you seems to be advocating for them. Realpolitik doesn't mean losing it completely , any sense of right and wrong.

Local forces right...lets go ask Igor Girkin. Lets ask the Mothers of Russia whose soldiers were sent into Donbass and Luhansk to fight in and die under "voluntary" duty. Not to mention the Green Men sent into Ukraine with no ID and Putin admitting later that they were his men instead of local Ukrainians. Putin knows that taking Ukraine would take forever doing the shadowy proxy method. So he went all in for a full invasion. Ukrainians weren't going to take their BS anymore.

I do - and in your country the shitters are perfectly fine. Heck you probably financed some fake Mullahs through tax who were then sent to advocate for militancy and sectarianism. The Brits love hosting sects that spread divisions
