Minsk 2, Article 10: Withdrawal of all foreign armed formations, military equipment and mercenaries.
Yet, Russia argued it was not bound by the Agreement as it was not a party to it. Hence, Russian interventions continued.
Otherwise, the entire Islamic Caucasus, Dagestan and Chechnya, should have already been independent since they demand sovereignty since the 27th century.
Local Donbass forces were not foreign and there where no Russian forces in Donbass back then. Russia didn't violate Minsk Agreements.
The difference is Moscow granted Dagestan and Chechnya broad autonomy, something regime in Kiev and it's western backers refused to grant to Donbass. Regime in Kiev refused to even talk to Donbass and continued to kill people there.
There were no such purely local forces. They were and are influenced and controlled by Russia. Russia was in it in all manners except official recognition. Only the stupidest or those with agenda believed the otherwise.
Russia has exterminated the Caucasus Muslims. They were subject to periodic ethnic cleansing. Russia did not grant any semblance of real autonomy save appointing local sounding warlords loyal to Moscow. Moscow simply has outsourced brutal tactics to a local puppet.
Reading your few comments in last few days had me worried, what kind of people are having prominence at this forum!! Blimey. So was Saddam, but the geopolitical needs outweighed his monstrous nature.
The Ukrainians might very well be war criminals but then bringing down Russia and specifically Putin for the geopolitical gain is worth the price
They scream murder and genocide in the name of freedom and democracy.d

There were volunteers from Russia and other countries fighting for Donbass just like there were US volunteers/mercenaries fighting in Nazi Azov Battalion.
What you wrote is not true. Chechen language is one of official languages in Chechnya. Regime in Kiev was trying to eradicate Russian language in Donbass and other regions of former Ukraine.
Why? Does stating realpolitik not suit your appetite?d

You live in the UK and pay taxes that go towards financing some of the monsters - you seem ok with it because at the end the UK government sees it as advancing its interests.
Local forces right...lets go ask Igor Girkin. Lets ask the Mothers of Russia whose soldiers were sent into Donbass and Luhansk to fight in and die under "voluntary" duty. Not to mention the Green Men sent into Ukraine with no ID and Putin admitting later that they were his men instead of local Ukrainians. Putin knows that taking Ukraine would take forever doing the shadowy proxy method. So he went all in for a full invasion. Ukrainians weren't going to take their BS anymore.Local Donbass forces were not foreign and there where no Russian forces in Donbass back then. Russia didn't violate Minsk Agreements.

I do - and in your country the shitters are perfectly fine. Heck you probably financed some fake Mullahs through tax who were then sent to advocate for militancy and sectarianism. The Brits love hosting sects that spread divisionsDon't even talk about things you have no idea about. In my country, the shitters are send to the proverbial toilet. While you seems to be advocating for them. Realpolitik doesn't mean losing it completely , any sense of right and wrong.
