Aircraft losing drop tanks and in some cases even a bomb is not unheard of, however while PAF has the confidence to perform in single engines right above the Capital, others got their air punched out after witnessing some French made fire works.

Sir, what branch of the forces / unit where you in? IF you would like to tell this forum, it would be nice.

Now law for Forces in Pakistan.... Enjoy the Freedom LADS.... it could have easily killed a dozen People..!

Don't be silly NO FORCES drop things on their civilians heads on purpose. It was an accident.

I personally know of a PAF pilot, as well as a UAEAF M2K pilot, who both lost their lives trying to maneuver the aircraft away from civilian areas, when their aircrafts became technical. Ultimately making the biggest sacrifice - their lives.

BOTH incidents that I'm privy too - the pilots COULD HAVE ejected, but choose NOT to do so, for a precious few seconds to save civilians on the ground.

Infect their night flying missions are quite regular since after their official induction in Sqn.2.
They pass over Gulshan-e-Iqbal areas for landing at Masroor AB and they can be easily spotted at night because of their extra bright navigation light and different whistle like engine sound.

Yes some sort of trials happend but POF and PA's main focus is on home production under license. Two different rifles were short listed but negotiations still on for terms and conditions.

Its probably a Thunder's fuel tank because a day before I have witnessed JFT's heavy night flying.
Infect their night flying missions are quite regular since after their official induction in Sqn.2.
They pass over Gulshan-e-Iqbal areas for landing at Masroor AB and they can be easily spotted at night because of their extra bright navigation light and different whistle like engine sound.

That's true, they fly low often with landing gear down and make maneuvers still. They seem to be going through test flights these days I reckon. They especially take the skies at night with sparkling reds n greens, saw them flying with a mirage the other day, poor delta looked dim with just one flash strobe light over the vertical tail.

m2k crash on 08 Oct 89 i think during an air show and most probably the reason india banned the single engine fighters from public parades

While performing on the airforce day, the Indian Mirage-2000 pilot, a Wing Commander, fails to come out of the loop and crashes close to the VIP stand. although that happened almost 30 years earlier but since then all single engine aircraft have been prohibited from participating in National events hence you will not witness the likes of Tejas or any other single engine jets even do a simple fly by on India's republic day parade.

Possible but its just your speculation. Masroor AFB operates f7 and Mirages as well. it seems an accident which ever aircraft it was.
