Drone shot down in Pakistan made in China: Chinese state media

. .
If the drone had a SD card on it(as this model does and Ive seen it up close) it would show what it was doing there. But Im assuming that has already been done and they realized that it was probably some amateur thing and would feel too stupid to admit a mistake right now considering the sour atmosphere and the need to one up each other on both sides.
i'm sure there is a storage device in-built or some sort of real time data transmission mechanism to transmit the data.
At USD 1200 (it would cost about INR 70,000 in India) which is lower than cost of several Canon L lenses and therefore it could (as you mentioned) belong to some amateur photographer.

They are also being used to deliver pizzas!

:azn:
They are common place. I can buy one to film my marriage from the air. The fact that no one stepped up means this was just a civvy trying to get some cool shots of the border and realizing that they may have screwed up decided to hide and not go back for their investment.

The Rangers and the ISPR on the other hand found something to shoot back at the BSF after the non-stop tit for tat with no one getting the upper hand as such and decided to pounce on the opportunity. By the time they realized what they had "shot down".. it was too late to say otherwise and look stupid.

That drone could be from any side.. India or Pakistan.. heck.. smugglers could use that drone too as they have been doing it on the US-Mexican border..

Hmm.. Ive got an idea here to make some money back home.

Tell me, you like yourself some opium?
