Civilians do not carry weapons unlike combatants. So if you see via video feed, heavily armed group moving around, it is either your people or enemy.

Thats where you are mistaken.... Call it good or bad... Guns are part of the culture in Tribal Area of Pakistan and Afghanistan (after soviet Afghan war)... And US will never win this war if they don't understand the culture of this country.
