A very interesting inteview. A Must watch!

Few primary concerns were addessed in this inteview.
Firstly, Sethi Sahab clarified himself on some of his own misstatements for Dr. Sahab, one of which being that Dr. Sahab contested in 90s.

So Sethi Sahab proceeded first with Dr. Sahab's stance over Blasphemy Law. To which Dr. Sahab replied while he's not against the law itself, but the enforcement of the law is something he opposes and when asked whether or not the Law applies on Non-Muslims, Dr. Sahab replied, it applies on both Muslims and Non-Muslims alike.

Sethi Sahab then futher proceeded with questions regarding fundings. To which Dr. Sahab replies, TMQ has members in 90 Countries, out of which 50 being major countries, varying from 2,000 to 7,000. And that donations in excess of 1,000 Pounds/Euros is nothing unheard of among TMQ. And thus, Donations in excess of PKR 200,000,000 is not a big deal for TMQ.

I suggest ya watch the interview yourself, Dr. Sahab clarifies a lot of misunderstandings. Personally, I find Dr. Sahab a very charismatic person. While I still disagree with his policies and consider them not wrong, but impractical, atleast here in Pakistan. But The Man's style, suaveness, eloquence, broad-mindedness are a few things had to get over.

Do comment please.

Batman, would ya say Military has Dr. Sahab's back?
Personally, I'd vote Dr. Sahab any day over Imran. The Brave Man isn't afraid of terrorists. He calls them for who they're.

.
Tahirul-Qadri has factually flattened Najam Sethi. In whole interview, the only weak answer by Tahir-ul-qadri was his answer about "What made him opt for Canadian Nationality as well" but otherwise, he made Najam eat his underwear.

.
^^^ he is an excellent muqarir, he has excellent knowledge on religion, politics and international issues and no one can beat him at his game
but that doesnt mean anything, what matters is his intentions and that only God knows

frist line of your post, as a whole no, militry isnt backing him , but yes some vry influential higher ups like him!same goes for IK Too!
its a tricky game out there?
but without elctoral changes, no elections could bring anything good for poor & normal peoples, of pakistan?
9 times before it happened , its only the number game, if you hve enough money to bribe the head of a main streem political party like PPP or pmln thn its all right for you? if you are in PPP which is the sitting govt right now, & you still want to be in power, simple thing you do is, tell NAWAZ that you will join him jst at the last moment, of the completation of the crunnt govt, for that you could donate whatever he would like to hve?
that is the real problem here, peoples in elite club, just by switching the sides on the right time???
you think its right, & is this is a way forward?
i myself, never would like to vote for anyone, even a angel stand & ask my vote!

.
i admire this man..he is one of the most rationale jurnolists i knew

.
as long as tahir qadri mullah doesnt bring his deobandi ism in the politics, i wholeheartedly support his stance and may allah grant success to him ameen

Well, my fundamental disageement with Dr. Sahab is on implementation of article 62 and equal representation in Parliament.
Now as good as they may sound. but I seriously doubt anyone wouldn't violate the following sub-clause of Article 62:

*(d) he is of good character and is not commonly known as one who violates Islamic Injunctions.
*(e) he has adequate knowledge of Islamic teachings and practises obligatory duties prescribed by Islam as well as abstains from major sins
*(f) he is sagacious, righteous and non-profligate, honest and ameen, there being no declaration to the contrary by a court of law.

Now, fankly speaking, how many of your friends and acquaintances would be eligible to become Parliamentarians under aforementioned sub-clases of Article 62? I know I wouldn't. These are ceremonial sub-clauses and should be dealt with accordingly, in my opinion.

Now for the equal representation part. See the poblem with that is, how is a farmer supposed to contest in elections? Who would fund him? Elections, as ya aleady may know, in most of the rural constituencies, which by the way constitute over 70% of Pakistan, cost in excess of 20,000,000. How would a common man afford to fund himself/herself?

all laws without censess, should be represented again in a newly parliment, elected on the bassis of newly updated electrol process, & should be voted again, & if a upgrade is requried thn with censess , up grade it!
QADRI shb dont will hve any problem with that , i think?
