Dr. Pervez Hoodbhoy visited my lab the last time when he was in Calgary. When we showed him quantum physics principals being operative in life sciences - he was awed. But then when I said, it could not have just happened like this - he was not very happy. I seriously think that no matter what people think of him - he is a very bright and brilliant mind who any nation would love to include in its talent pool. You do not have to agree to everything that he says or believes but you know where he stands and why. It is shame that people like him are not considered worth much in our country; such nations will never rise to realize their full potential.

Lol, on one side you have sim individuals like this guy and the on the other even academics like Dr Ammar Ali Jan, both mistaking this place for some sort of news outlet or political blog. They don’t realise that this is a public forum where anyone can come and say anything.

I do agree with his view that our curriculum at universities is decades old. In an age where curriculum should be reviewed every few month we are still being taught from obsolete notes and text books.

Allah promises Zillat to all those who transgress , become arrogant and cross their limits .. This guy was suppose to be studying the Physics , but here we are him talking about topics on which he has little to no knowledge, he is poking his nose in issues which he know nothing off, him toning and following a certain idea , or movement is wrong because as a teacher his job is to educate students in the filed of Physics in which he has PHD in ..He transgress and become a Arrogant man who start questioning the creator and his rules, His end will be no Different than many who tried and lost in history .. No one will know Hoodbhoy or David in couples of decades at most , but the world and billions across the globe will remember their faith and their creator .

I don't think age was the factor for his expulsion from FC because the professor who taught us chemistry in FC college during 2011-13 was 78 at that time and the one who taught us urdu, Mr. Sandhu, was also 60+.
