Thought US is leaving Afghanistan by the end of this year while Trump presidency lasts till 20 Jan 2021. Lets hope Taliban stay focus on the big prize and let US forces leave while negotiating and once forces are gone then their return is very unlikely. Republican/Democrats both are from the US and they will only be interested in their own interests and China is a going boggy at the moment and nothing is changing at that front. India is thought of a lap dog who is helpful for that reason so some major policy change towards Pakistan is very unlikely.
