GHAZNI, Afghanistan, April 28 (Xinhua) -- Seven Taliban fighters including a mine maker were confirmed dead as fighting aircraft targeted Taliban hideouts in Andar and Gero districts of the restive Ghazni province on Saturday, provincial government spokesman Aref Nuri said Sunday.

According to the official, the sorties were conducted on tip off on Saturday afternoon in the said districts and besides killing seven insurgents including the Taliban mine maker, over a dozen more insurgents sustained injuries.

Even if it is true , then Aghanistan should get ready for backlash , Taliban will attack now and they'll kill dozens of soldiers ...

.
.
this is beneficial for talibans and will become more lethal for u.s

.
Another fake news being discussed .... great!

.
Both factions continue to kill each other - nothing new.

These developments will not disrupt scheduled talks one bit. So no worries.

FYI: https://www.voanews.com/a/us-afghan...ra-afghan-dialogue-with-taliban-/4894178.html

Let us hope that the matter of Afghan political crisis is settled through dialogue.
not possible, afghan issue is ethno-religiousc issue ..a fourway crisis between the pushtoons, tajiks, uzbeks and hazaras..
this was evident by mid 1990s when Afghanistan was ruled by four different factions..

only possiblity is that some sort of loose federation happens..

lastly there is no economical way to manage such a country which has been foreign aid dependent for 20+ years

.
the taliban cant and will not be allowed by tajiks and hazaras to rule all afghanistan.so if USA leaves we will simply see another civil war which will be more bloody

I thought Taliban were secondary targets. Kill one Taliban with all the collateral damage by ANA and USA/NATO you create 3 more.

. .
so if USA leaves

US is not going to leave, why leave a military outpost right on the border with energy rich Central Asia, its next to Iran, next to nuclear armed Pakistan where US can use it to try and contain China and limits its activities in Pakistan.

All western forces have to withdraw or no peace with the Taliban. USA can bomb ISIS from bases in gulf or from AC carriers.

Daesh would have been eliminated from Afg by Taliban if ANA, RAW, US, NATO didn’t keep funding and evacuating them.

Daesh is their puppet. Their real target is Taliban and Pakistan.

The only reason why America is in Afghanistan is its mineral resources and the to contain the PRC hence why they are starting to highlight Xinjiang a lot in the western press the US does not give a damn about the Afghan people or the Uyghurs in Xinjiang only uses them for geo political pawns as for Afghanistan future it will be a vassal state of Pakistan, PRC ,CAR and Iran

I'm gonna have to agree with you on that. Its the classic an enemy of my enemy is my friend, ISIS is attracting a lot of disgruntled lower ranking fighters from Taliban, ISIS would be tolerated by NATO as long as they keep targeting them and Pakistan. Man if the Pakistani leaders don't play their card then we could end up in the same violent era that we just got out of few years ago.
