Why just stop at the ummah? Remember John Lennon - "Imagine if there were no borders". Wouldn't it be nice if there were absolutely no borders?

But it is not going to happen - not in our lifetimes anyway. Too much economic disparity.

The problem as always isnt Islam which has a simple message of brotherhood...

The problem is people,


Islam means SUBMISSION to the will of God
Muslim means ONE WHO SUBMITS to the will of God

The will of God is the quran, so if a person calls himself a muslim but then either refuses to follow the Quran or islamic principles he becomes a hypocrite




The prohblem with the Ummah today is that we are filled toi the brim with these hypocrites and it is the central cause of our problem and situation

An Egyptian liberal will massacre fellow kmuslims for his idea of nationalim is state
A TTP fanatic will gun down muslims because he calls them shia hertics
AQ will bomb a mosque because he will decalre that the people supported army action against them
Turkish liberals will declar by seculairm and attaturk before God who created them and this world as if they will face judgement day before attark & not Allah swt
The saudi's will declare fatwas and appear islamic then support egyptian liberals and army in storming mosques and killing muslims by the hundreds

All this is the HYPOCRICY which causes us pain and strife




Islam dosent change, will not change, not now, not ever It is the true will of God all other paths are fake

Ummah is real, because God has demanded it, he has not asked us it is his command to us

Let the hypocrites do what they will, they will face punishment in the end

But all who call themselves muslim must put their faith in God, the Prophet, the Quran and Muslim brotherhood, otherwise why call yourselves muslim???

No not in any way. If Ahmadiyyas dont believe in Muhammad(P.B.U.H) as last Messenger of Allah(S.W.T) then how come they are part of Ummah.

And about that field day hahhaah it will not be a field day.

Which brand? There is the Wahabi strand. There is the Deobandi strand. There is the Sufi strand. There are Shias, Sunnis and Ahmadiyas. You are right in that it is difficult for Indians to understand every aspect of Islam - but surely we can put forth our views.

Indians should keep out of this thread, after all the peace loving ummah has not been attacking us from their founding days...

If ummah was a spiritual concept, nobody would care, but its a political concept, often militant, and certainly difficult as hell to understand, considering the green on green ''friendly misunderstandings'' we see everywhere.

Funnily enough Hindus don't even have such a concept but over 90% of them live in India.

I think most Indians when they go abroad get very excited to meet another Indian. I don't think they first wait to find out whether he/she is Hindu before allowing themselves to get excited.
