Double Trouble for China

Does that also mean that European and Japanese courts are not working since we in the EU, Canada and Japan have much lower numbers of inmates than the US.

Use your brain when you make an argument!

German (Europe) and Japan are not the mascot of good judicial system especially since they have been sheltering junk immigrants like you.

Use your brain when you get emotional seeing your comrades getting called out.

First of all that statistical representation is flawed, if not, then you are now in a trap. It doesn't serve Chinese propaganda and biases against USA if you could have studied how to read a statistical graph ?

If a statistic is comparing three or four subject studies then all subjects are equal in terms if the graph is pitching them at the base.

It means the author of the graph in this case feel that all four or five nations has comparable by functioning law and enforcement and judicial system. But more people are being sentenced to jail in USA. If you think one nation is better then other then the whole purpose of the graph is defeated.

The graph only explains that the system in rest of the nations are not working the way American system is working.

How it is so difficult for you to comprehend. Use your Chinese brain if you have any before opening your mouth next time.

Good people will love to be a nation where they know there are more chances a criminal who commits a crime against them will be caught by police and be served by a infringement or term in in jail.

as for "not free",no country in the world can beat US.if you are an American, you are many times more likely than the rest of the world to be "not free"at some point of your life time.
where is china in this? how u can compare if u not putting ur own country data? . and just for your information i dont think here '' not free'' means ppl in jails.

Statistic 101

You can only use statistic to compare relative similar data. If you use the same set of Data to compare across a range of raw information, you will be misinterpreting the data represented.

Judging from the surface, i can see several fault on the Graph and Data Representation in this case

1.) If you compare across different country you cannot simply compare a figure that in relation to one thing (In this case data/constant amount of populace) Each country have multi-dimensional phase that represent one problem. If you need to compare, you also need to look at different factor, such as land size, cultural, religion and etc)

2.) Compare between Inmate population does not directly represent the Situation regarding "freedom"

You may not know there are differnet level of prison, range from minimum security, to maximum security. And each security issue related to certain amount of freedom. Range from Weekend/Weekday release to Solidary Confinement.

3.) And most important of all. The definition of freedom is not directly comparable to the definition of jail term.

Hence, i consider the whole prison population vs level of freedom comparasion are BS.
