Dosti pak china students dance on Nazia hassan's Song

This oughta shut all those western critics who casually cited that there were no people to people links between Pakistan and China. While they may not have been at optimal levels in past, Sino-Pak relations are evolving at rapid pace and this time they are extending beyond military and diplomatic interaction. Yeah and those trade/economic critics better watch out as well, as they are next in line to be slapped by an overdose of reality.

Muslims and Hindus lived happily together only under the Muslim rulers. In Kushans time there were no Muslims in India. For example Babur, Akbar, Shah Jahan.

I know but I think you did not get my point

1) Kushan was a Buddhist empire, meaning an atheist empire and a non-Hindu & Non-Muslim Empire. Only when both India and Pakistan give up their historical animosities and current positions and find a ground on a new option, can they move forward.

2) When Pakistan and India join hands they would be able to influence all the way up to Central Asia like they did during the period of the Kushans.

I thought I would say that the ideal tribute would have been when Indians and Pakistanis sing this song, as this song was produced by Biddu (From India) and sung by Nazia & Zohaib Hassan (From Pakistan) but then I paused and I realized that would be an incorrect characterization.. India and Pakistan are not friends but brothers. Blood is thicker than water.. There is love hate relationship between the two but one day they would be together again like the quintessential Bollywood movie ending ....

Yes it is. Can you tell us which city is it?

Thanks for the tag and thanks for bringing back all the sweet memory for me @PaklovesTurkiye. Saw it before, still very excited after watching.
Perhaps there is no one at PDF knowing this place more than me. I was born and lived in my birth place which is only 3 kms from this University for more than 20 years. It used to be called Beijing Broadcasting College under the Ministry of Radio, Film and Television of China, at which my parents,my sister and brother and I worked. It is the No.1 place for training TV &Radio broadcasters, directors and maybe journalists in China.
Hope more Pakistani students can take part into studying at this University and make contribution to China-Pak friendship in the future.
The university offers a wide range of free scholarship to foreign students to study there. It is about 5 kms from Beijing CBD, so it is fun place to study and live. Here is the link for the cholarship http://www.admissions.cn/cuc/index_4xq.html

Here are some photos about this university, including Pakistani Govt Official delegation's visit in 2006.

From memories China is ranked at top to provide foreign students free scholarship to study. I met someone from Turkey years ago In Australian asking me to help translating the enrollment form so he could apply a Chinese university by post.
Nowadays many youths chose to study in China for their career development

i think the rivalry in between India and Pakistan is not paying much to both countries, rather the fight must be against poverty , disease, inequality, illiteracy etc. But i don't know whether it is workable or not , but it didn't work for last 65 years. I think both the countries should not hold the baggage of enmity, rivalry etc and must burry the hatchet.

However I sincerely wish people of both countries can live peacefully together.

I found this very amazing, beautiful and lovely video.....A Pakistani student from attock city, studying in China, celebrated Pakistan day along with Chinese fellows.....Song sung/played is amazing too, matches perfectly when Pakistan and China friendship comes to our mind. Song is about Dosti means Friendship. This is song of our beloved late beautiful lady and singer, one and only, Nazia Hassan. This video brought sadness and happiness to me at the same time. Happiness bcuz seeing Pakistanis and Chinese students getting so well along and sadness because this song reminds me of this lady below, who captivated people of 1970s and 1980s with her beautiful voice, who left us so early at young age due to cancer.....

It is really lovely scene to watch Pakistani and Chinese people enjoying and celebrating their friendship. Love for both nations ...The only wish I have is if the video was shared at higher resolution...but otherwise it was a great performance.

You have a nice comment and I appreciate people like you. One day both India and Pakistan will realise the importance of friendly relations with each other. We want a progressive Asia and now it is time for Asia to take the baton of development and progress from the hands of West. India should not play in the hands of uncle sam against China rather try to make peace with China and focus on the peaceful development.
