Sure do. I have relatives there. Some fought the indians - either in uniform or as freedom fighters. Something I'm proud to share.

Also take into account that out of the 350,000, a significant number is located around Udhampur, near the Chicken's Neck; another very large number is tasked to look east. Detailing the precise numbers beyond this is not desirable; those who need to know on the other side already know, right down to the orbat.

The number of soldiers actually on counter-insurgency duties in the Vale is almost confined to RR units, which can be counted and multiplied by a fixed number known widely. These are organised into 'Forces' located at different geographies, and backed up by CRP and local armed police. There is nothing much to be said about these, except that some very good units of the local armed police exist, which excel over all others in these duties.

Would you like some matchboxes? Keep trying, for as long as you want, as many sparks and as many matches as you think it takes.

AFSPA, since you know nothing about constitutions, is a constitutional necessity; otherwise, like Pakistan often does, there is nothing to be done but declare martial law. We tend to do things slightly differently. We don't shoot air-to-ground rockets into caves after our dissidents.

As for rocking chairs, it is true that I am elderly and not as active as I used to be. But I tell the truth - always - and I don't spout propaganda. Above all, I am not a lying four-flusher. I think that makes up for the rocking chair.

I thought @Joe Shearer's rebuttal was to your earlier claim that there are more Indian soldiers than civilians. Not for "what difference" any force would make, no?

Do you at least admit that it is factually inaccurate to perpetuate the myth that there are more Indian soldiers than civilians in J&K?
