Don't forget 1971, Venkaiah Naidu warns Pakistan.

Lol
Cheeky fellow.
Maybe he meant that India should think twice about its Bengal province which is seeing civil unrest familiar to 71.

Bongladesh in itself is irrelevant. Just a pawn to counter weights here and there.

A satellite state on its eastern border has helped India but not to their expectations.

Lol. Bonglas are in eternal spiral of freedom and oppression

Bangladeshs socio economic, human development and law and order indicators have improved way better than pakistans last 10 15 years.

Their own internal politics is poor quality just like most developing countries. You are confusing that with some imagined oppression.

Don't forget 1971, Naidu warns Pak

NDA's vice-presidential candidate M Venkaiah Naidu on Sunday warned Pakistan against backing terror activities on Indian soil, saying "the neighbour" should remember what happened in the 1971 war. He said Kashmir is an integral part of India and not an "inch" of it will be ceded to Pakistan.

Pakistan had suffered a humiliating defeat in the 1971 war that also resulted in East Pakistan becoming Bangladesh as an independent country.

"Our neighbour should understand that aiding and abetting terror will not help them. They had an experience in 1971, they should remember that experience and focus on creating peace and prosperity for their people," he said at the 'Kargil Parakram Parade' here to mark the sacrifice of the soldiers in the 1999 conflict with Pakistan.

The former Union Minister also charged Pakistan with using terror as an instrument of "state policy". "Pakistan is mixing terror with religion. Terrorism has become their state policy. It is an enemy of humanity and has no religion," the former BJP leader said.

His strong remarks come days after the US called Pakistan a safe haven of terrorists.

Naidu also said that Pakistan, which had embarked on the "Kargil misadventure", was now resorting to "diplomatic misadventures" to foment trouble in Kashmir. "It is time all 'misadventurists' realise that India's development story cannot be derailed by such 'shoot and scoot' tactics. We are too strong to get irritated and lose our focus," he said, ahead of the Kargil Vijay Diwas on July 26. On that day in 1999, India recaptured all posts in Kargil that had been occupied by Pakistani troops and intruders.

Pakistan has been indulging in ceasefire violations on the Line of Control (LoC), targeting civilians and even school children in one instance. This was communicated by Lt Gen A K Bhatt, the Indian Director General of Military Operations, to his Pakistani counterpart recently.

Naidu said India is a peace-loving nation and never attacked any other country and wants good relations with neighbours but it should be reciprocated.

On July 18, Naidu quit the government and his party to file his nomination for the August 5 vice-presidential election.

Mr hyper ugly deformed chimp, please don't forget August the 14th 1947 when a Muslim minority carved, ripped, dismembered and opened wide the legs of mother india to create Pakistan from conquered indian territory

And there's NOTHING you indian chimpanzees can ever do to get that conquered indian tetritory back :chilli:

. . .
He is wrong. We achieved our objective but did too much psychological damage. They should forget it and move on.

We need a normal rational responsible neighbor.

The biggest psychological damage was done on August the 14th 1947 when a Muslim minority carved, ripped, dismembered and opened wide the legs of mother india to create Pakistan & the land that eventually become bangladesh

And there's NOTHING indian kind can do to EVER get that conquered indian territory back again :chilli:

Not to mention the fact that Pakistan controls 40% of Kashmir even though we are more than 7x smaller than india and don't have access to the world's most advanced weapons systems like india does. I think we know where the humiliation and psychological damage really lies 8-)

some memories from 1971 :lol::lol:

But that in no way makes up for nearly 1000 year rule of india by a Muslim minority and August the 14th 1947

PS It took more than 100 million bengalis and 300 million indians to surround 50,000 Pakistani soldiers and 40,000 members of their family to achieve the above. Not to mention the fact that they were cut off from the motherland by nearly 3000 kms.
